I think it would pay to send these two out on loan next season. Say send one for the half of the season, then the other for the second half. Also throw in a 24 hour recall option aswell. Thoughts.......

So were allowed to send a player who is on loan with us out on loan??

Anyway, back to the point, downes and kovacs could quite easily get the experience here, unfortunately they'd be better off at the side of a more experienced player, probably downes with blathers and kovac with hazel, but, that relys on us not having both blathers and rubes not being fit / injured at the same time!

For such an inexperienced back 4 they did very well on wednesday, although i think we were always going to need 2 goals to win it.
As fish said, a reserve team would help but not this week as we would be playing the youth team defense in it!

don't slag-off the 'reserve' back four too much- the team conceeded one goal (not the back fours' fault)& the result was again down to lack of imagination in the last 'quarter'
support those four guys tomorrow..... they did a great job, especially in view of the lack of competitive football
