there was no desire of foot in from hall, o'hara and hurst often enough, its a local derby, we need players to thrwo everything at the ball, i.e. davies or niven
i know everyone is going to disagree, but i saw that match and people who i spoke after the match agreed with me
on a positive note though the back four was superb, for the conditions at how they came together well done to the back four and roache redeemed himself with a cracking save

O'Hara deserved MOTM. Maybe his overall contribution was somewhat hindered by playing most of the game very deep in his own half in what appeared to be a defensive midfield role.

i have the feeling we will agree to disagree on this matter i think, i did not think he was good enough in that role and i would be tempted to re-unte niven and allott for saturday.
but why? if you can point out something i missed then i will accept it but i could not honestly see why

Whilst ever Larkin misses half a dozen good chances a game he could never be named MOM. If he had converted 2 of those chances he was definately MOM. Unfortunately when you play up front you have to be judged on the goals you score. Chief didn't miss a single chance and I thought he was struggling from early on as he was no danger at all last night.
For my money, I thought the back four all did well in the circumstances and would have chosen Picken just in front of Kovaks.
Allott and O'Hara didn't seem to gel as much as the pre-clingan days of Allott & Niven. Hurst & Hall struggled to get decent crosses in although we did play quite well for the first 70 minutes but once Smith was introduced we completely lost shape with him moving inside too much and not taking up "available" positions.
End of the day, as said, we played quite well for much of the match but in front of goal we were woeful with Larkin the biggest culprit so hardly MOM.
Did Clingan play again last night in the latest sparkling performance by Forest, by the way?

Bit of a sticky period in first half but dominated the defence in second half.
Bearing in mind he's not played for months it was a very good performance.
