Does look good, looking forward to a visit, though can't say I'm a fan of the stepped roofing.

Let's hope they can pay for it, or not.
The difference is the actual ownership and the costs. The Match Day takings are not theirs, so what have they gained apart from returning to the Dump they call New York.

Kenilworth Road for the 21st Century. And letters on seats are only good when the ground is empty. If everyone sits on the "U" their lot will think they're playing at Rochdale, or somewhere.

It is also in a really bad spot hemmed in no room around 3 sides with scrap yards, railway lines and a river which is prone to flooding and from an access perspective and parking it is a nightmare.
I am genuinely pleased for the real die hard Miller's fans they deserved a new ground just as much as us but the lack of transparanecy on funding of the team and the stadium leave a sour taste. Millmoor and the DVS are close by geographically but a million miles from the new ground in every other way. Whatever its shortcomings may be for the local area it will be the hub of some re-generation just like our ground has been. Let's hope we are both up there challenging this year and that we both go up, with us on top of course.

So was Millmoor! (Not necessarily the river but the rest of it)

They've done well to get back into Rotherham as quick as they have done. However, I'm far from convinved about the numbers & their business model though.

I'm pleased for the genuine Millers fans, but all this rubbish about people being jealous of each others grounds? Whats that about?
They'll love it because it's THEIR ground, I love the B2Net because it's MY ground. They could play at the equivalent to the new Brighton ground and I wouldn't be jealous, because it's not MY ground.
Looking forward to beating them on it, 3,000 Town fans behind the goal singing away to their hearts content. Bring it on.

Is that correct, that the match day takings are not theirs? Not questioning what you say just not heard this before.

It's true, meaning of course food, beverage and the suites, whether on the day or indeed for events (but not match day ticket sales).
Rotherham sold the rights for a number of years for a lump sum, which I am sure Evans is burning through as we speak.
