Does look good, looking forward to a visit, though can't say I'm a fan of the stepped roofing.

It looks impressive and Good Luck to them but for the Money it should be a lot bigger and better. It's got less than 2,000 more seats than ours.

Let's hope they can pay for it, or not.

The difference is the actual ownership and the costs. The Match Day takings are not theirs, so what have they gained apart from returning to the Dump they call New York.

Kenilworth Road for the 21st Century. And letters on seats are only good when the ground is empty. If everyone sits on the "U" their lot will think they're playing at Rochdale, or somewhere.

Been past regularly of late. It does look ok if somewhat inbalanced, one big side, one very small and two others tiered plus steel supports on the outside of some of the stands ala Shrewsbury. It has been thrown up very quickly 9 months max and from close up the quality looks very debatable even the coloured cladding and lettering are amatuerish. There is not a big enough gap between Rotherham and United for instance.

It is also in a really bad spot hemmed in no room around 3 sides with scrap yards, railway lines and a river which is prone to flooding and from an access perspective and parking it is a nightmare.

I am genuinely pleased for the real die hard Miller's fans they deserved a new ground just as much as us but the lack of transparanecy on funding of the team and the stadium leave a sour taste. Millmoor and the DVS are close by geographically but a million miles from the new ground in every other way. Whatever its shortcomings may be for the local area it will be the hub of some re-generation just like our ground has been. Let's hope we are both up there challenging this year and that we both go up, with us on top of course.

I think filling in the corners will finish our ground off. It will look better than the NYS and be bigger.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Yep, the NYS looks a nice stadium, glad that the genuine Millers fans have something to be proud of, because there is nothing else in that hell hole.

I drive past it every day for work and the more it's gone on the tackier it has become, I would rather have ours and that's not being biased that's just my opinion.

If you zoom in on the first picture he posted titled 'what a view', zoom into the top right hand corner towards what looks like a control box and does anyone else think there's a few seats there with restricted viewing?? I'm not sure how anyone on the back rows would be able to see the side of the pitch where the photo has been taken from. Of corse I could be wrong from looking at the photo but they may have done a 'Morecambe' here.

looking at the pics it just doesnt look right it just seems to be all over the place inside the ground, i did think the main stand was going to look nice but now seeing it with seats in even that just seems wrong now.

My first reaction, were spirit levels banned onsite!

They've done well to get back into Rotherham as quick as they have done. However, I'm far from convinved about the numbers & their business model though.

Looks decent, obviously a million miles better than the Eastern European Stadium.

I'm pleased for the genuine Millers fans, but all this rubbish about people being jealous of each others grounds? Whats that about?

They'll love it because it's THEIR ground, I love the B2Net because it's MY ground. They could play at the equivalent to the new Brighton ground and I wouldn't be jealous, because it's not MY ground.

Looking forward to beating them on it, 3,000 Town fans behind the goal singing away to their hearts content. Bring it on.

Is that correct, that the match day takings are not theirs? Not questioning what you say just not heard this before.

It's true, meaning of course food, beverage and the suites, whether on the day or indeed for events (but not match day ticket sales).
Rotherham sold the rights for a number of years for a lump sum, which I am sure Evans is burning through as we speak.

Looking at the main stand there it doesnt look quite right for some reason. Seems to be a bit all over the place with the way they've done the seats with those ones at a different level in the middle etc. Also not keen on the stepped roof either. Seems a cheap way of doing the roof to join the bigger main stand with the smaller one opposite which appears to be about 15 rows deep!
