Thank-you David for your time here. He's worked his arris off and I'm sad to see him go. He'll definitely make it at a higher level than this. Get clay back from alfreton now, he might not yet have the skill but he'll give it everything he has.

H again your comment was **** ish but then again you are one. Niven and Randall would make a lower end league 2/conference combination. But I guess the league table lies. Perhaps it is upside down?

I don't even see why we need Randall anyway, Niven's passing is great according to H Again.

it's d-day then. Davis-day! If we don't replace him for at least Saturday we are shafted. probably are anyway but this would totally be us rolled up in the carpet and tossed in the sea. glug-glug-glug...

If you think people haven't raved our been impressed with the single beam of light in or recent performances (Davis) then I would ask where have you been?

Terrible news

Absolutely. I would go as far as to say he is our midfield

comments like this make me laff (no insult intended), as i don't recall anyone singing davis's praises when he 1st arrived, or at anytime he has been here, he has been efficient, without being dynamique, or putting in MOTM performances, lowry in his short time since recall from crewe has not yet been given a chance, he played at oldham JPT, and had a stormer only to be dropped to the bench( i think) for the next game, then not even in the squad, only to be brought back to play at county, (can't comment on the performance was'nt there) then back to not even in the squad, we all know what jamie is capable of when given a chance, and the crewe coaching staff thought highly of him as did the fans there ( have spoken to ST holders over there), so maybe now is the time to give him chance to show once again that he is still capable, and use the freed up wage on a badly needed striker.

I was and he had a very poor game. He started on the left wing which was ridiculous and he looked lost . Marginally better in centre midfield once moved there but still poor. I don't think he is the answer to our relegation battles.

Seriously though, do you not think we'd be destroyed if we played a midfield two of Niven and Randall? Do you not think they'd walk right through us?

Only way Randall is playing in midfield is in a midfield 3, he can't muck in, he can't tackle, he will get beaten for every header, he will get shrugged off the ball.

And no, before you say it, it's not because RPL rates him cos I know you love to use that excuse. I'm not even going to begin describing why I don't want Niven starting cos you'll call me a sheep and tell me to get my own opinion like to do to everyone who doesn't think he's a good passer l0l

brrb going for a jog

No, I don't as a matter of fact, but I didn't suggest that - what I actually suggested was five in midfield, with Allott, Niven and Randall the middle three, if you take the trouble to read my post.
Hope this reaches you before you find that bridge.

Niven's passing is standard for this Division, and now and again he produces a really outstanding pass. I didn't say his passing was great.
Try not to be childish.

Read the post again, following it carefully with your finger, or better still, get somebody to read it to you.
I said REPLACE DAVIS with Niven and Randall. That leaves ALLOTT in midfield as well, making THREE central midfielders, if your maths is up to two and one making three.

I just read that with my finger and I even got my abacus out for this 1 and yep that would make us playing with 12 men and I dont think they would allow that

Try VERY slowly with your finger then. With a bit of luck you might pick up the bit about a lone striker, which gives you a clue. One less striker, one more midfielder - see?
Makes 11, (eleven). The abacus may come in useful here.
