This is probably the best I've felt when seeing a line up all season. Westcarr in for Mendy as and when and I think we've got our strongest XI. I'd like to think we can really impose ourselves tonight and score 3 for the first time in god knows how long...
I would say different, but I'd only get accused of being negative!
OK, I've never been one for hanging back if somethings got to be said
I understand Tally back at right back (though its definitely a weakness and I don't like it).
Mendy offers very little for me and Ridehalgh isn't a left winger so little to come from the wings (what little comes they will be more from Ridehalgh than Mendy's though).
Lowry needs to prove himself in the middle at this level and we are assuming he can do it from how he was and the game at Oldham (even though I'm a big fan of his).
So I don't quite see it as our strongest XI - though I do agree with you on Westcarr for Mendy and if it's a fitness thing then fair enough again.
It could come down to how good Jamie is back in the middle at this level for me as the wide players aren't going to provide much for the front two.
Interesting game and Bury is only the start (as far as the quality of our opponents go), I really hope we get over this first hurdle and keep in the running for when we face the tougher jumps.
EDIT: and that was before I saw how we are lining up
