yes, was thinking that earlier, all of a sudden people are spireites, even people who haven't even been to the B2net yet.

I know it was a few months ago now but I can't remember that many people being at Meadow Lane back in the first game of the JPT.

Can the "fans" who were slagging off the JPT a couple of weeks ago please raise their hands now? Just so I can be sure who is not going to Wembley.

Come on now, you know who you are, let's be having you...

I get teased by people from home for talking about Town so much on Facebook. The night we won against Oldham, my Facebook was full of 'Yes Town!', 'We're Going To Wembley!' and 'Well Done Chesterfield!'..

Is it wrong that rather than pride, I just felt a bit sick and angry that most of these people can make the games, but choose not to, whilst I travel any distance when I can to see them, but i'm stuck in B****Y Welshland.

I know it's always going to be the same, but if i'm sat next to a tourist, they'd better be ready to bounce.

Who'd have thought, more people are interested in a weekend in London and a trip to Wembley than a Tuesday night at Meadow Lane!

On the other hand, how many people felt like throwing themselves off the multi-storey when we got knocked out early doors last season? It's only a worthwhile competition if you reach the last couple of rounds. Would the memory of a day out at Wembley sustain us through the soul-grinding trips to some of League Two's football cathedrals next season? I intend to enjoy the day, but it's not much more than a snack between meals in terms of football nourishment.

No i'm not going, I'll leave the blue wigs face paint to the 10000 who haven't been since old Trafford, i'm skiing in the three Valleys, of it's on in a meribel bar while i'm enjoying a10 euro pint I'll have a look but for me, I'd be happier with a win at bury, i'm going to that one.

Why can't people just accept the fact that a trip to the new wembley is going to draw out extra support.
Would you like it if only the 500 from meadow lane went and nobody else.
I haven't called it a "tin pot cup" and I haven't been to any however I'm a season ticket holder and spend my money in the club just as much as anybody else.
I'm going to wembley. I don't care what you say.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

We have treated it no different to most fans of the clubs involved...you only have to look at the attendances for nearly every game in the thing!! Early rounds attract very small attendances and its only the area semi finals and finals when clubs all of a sudden can see Wembley on the horizon that it becomes something.

Oh dear, every year its the exact same, nobody cares about it until the latter rounds. yes its a big day for all Spireite's and it's bound to get more people goin cos it's at Wembley. Hats off to the 500 or so who went to Meadow Lane and Preston and Oldham.

Looks like we've got another one of them Ultimate fans in Heisenberg....god i love them.

I'm a season ticket holder, shareholder & founder member. I haven't been to a JPT game all season. Am i qualified to go to Wembley? Everyone is going to get a ticket so just roll with it - there's going to be loads there and it'll be a great laugh. If this jaunt gets us £250k and a couple of hundred extra diehards who go every week then as far as i'm concerned it'll have been a totally worthwhile exercise.

By the way, I'm not saying that anyone doesn't have the right to go to Wembley, the more the merrier. I was just saying that I wish some people that hadn't been to a single game all season would be like 'Well, it's a day out', than 'Spireite til I Die'..

I will start the ball rolling i have given him a minus for his jibe and arrogant remark,i could say have you been to every away league match this season but i am not going to show my ignorance :),i did say i am not bothered about the early rounds,at first i wanted to go to Preston but the team were just so bad i said no i am not going my first game was Oldham away, and that is twice i have been there this season now,i think i can hold my head up high with the support i have given the team this season despite our league position.......
