Padley ??

Not an exile but booked my train to pick my daughter (who lives in kent) up at st pancras very early doors so i could get back in time for the match. There were loads of Charlton at St panc when i got there and plenty got on the 0955. I then got said daughter and jumped on the 1025 back, but as i was going through the barriers noticed alot of the Charlton lot weren't getting on and realised it must be off.....damn that 6 oclock start !

On the train i got a call from my old man confirming it was off, which a family of already hammered Charlton fans sat next to me reconfirmed mistaking me for one of theirs despite my broad derbyshire accent! They then spent the next 2 hours deciding to watch Sheff yooo Wycombe instead and were mystified when i got up to get off at town!!

'Aint ya cammin wiv us to Sheffield then? it'll be borin walkin rahnd chesterfield on ya own '

It was only then that i enlightened the cockney toolboxes that i was 'FROM'T TAHN' and the only time i would ever go to watch wendy or the blunts was to watch us kick their asssss !

Having worked in Brader for 10 years I have a rough idea

Using historical knowledge of your posts I naturally jumped to the conclusion (notice how I avoided the word assumed) that you were being derogatory, again, in this case towards your alternative entertainment for the day
