I'd imagine quite a few might be going and feeling the wrath of the missus when they get home. I wonder who has come up with the best excuse for going to football on valentines day?

Not a problem in Aldershot, ladies go free

A few weeks ago the 7 points adrift we eliciting all sorts of doom and gloom yet that same 7 points can take us upto Exeter in 18th position.

A win on Tuesday cold see us out of the relegation zone, if other results go our way.

So Tuesday-

CARLISLE V TRANMERE.........................
SCUNNY V DALE.........
COUNTY V EXETER.................
OLDHAM V WALSALL...........
WYCOMBE V TEOVIL.......
BURY V CFC.

This fixture is usually a close affair so I go with expectation.....................

Dave - potentially MASSIVE game and consequences
-1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1

RPL, given your 100% record at away matches going back many years can you arrange to go on Tuesday?

Westbars - back in the 70's and early 80's it was very much hit and miss.

Dad's 81st birthday on Tues so will not be going even though my dad's eldest brothers family live in Bury and are Bury fans.

Alas, it appears I had Bury down for a home win

Two minor points. She hates football and at 5 & 1 the kids really ought not be left alone.

Education, dear boy, education. Dress it up with a pre-match meal. Women can learn to love football. As for children, babysitter.

Ok here is the clincher: Hospitality package. She wont even have to watch the game. It starts at a tenner.

Her response was to the point. The first word was 'get' and the second began with an 'f'.

Now you mention it, what an appaling decision by the FA to schedule in a football program on Valentines night.
As if Valentines isn't bad enough, there will be thousands around the country chuntering extra loudly.
Missing footy for romance, what is the world coming too?

is it me or did we play bury on valentines day a few years ago

what woman could refuse a night out in Bury anyway?
