No idea what state the pitch is in (i was going to put shape,but we have some wise guys on here ),but its white over my car is staying put as it is frost ridden,someone take a fork and test under the covers please,i am all showered up ready to go but if not there is footy on the telly.....

it would be really helpful if the club did an earlier inspection like leyton orient did this morning.

Perhaps but they also need to give the game the best chance.

Yes Tim the fans will have to do like we do and set off keep listening for newsif its on keep going if its off turn back,you will never beat the weather.....

-4.2 in newbold now but they knew it was gonna be this cold when they inspected yesterday .

according to met office it should get up to 0C at 3pm :rolleyes:

I walked from town to work this morning around half 6, it was absolutely freezing, if it hasn't picked up since i've been in the office i really cant see it being on.

My mate as just brought his season ticket round as he has just set off ith my son-inlaw for the OLd TRafford hospitality suite this lunchtime.I hope our game is on because it will serve him right for putting premiership crap before his beloved team's relegation battle today.

If we had undersoil heating like the premiership crap then our game would probably be going ahead :lol:.....we haven't so its off....

Main problem with the undersoil heating to run for a few days works out at over 25k a match and on small gates its not viable never mind the installation costs to set it up and a shame really as we have lost a good gate today and a possible a good game also.

I fully understand that,i am as disappointed as anyone else because we have started to put a run together,last week spoiled it somewhat though,i think we could have got something from the game,like we should have at there place....

I hope we are going to rip up the pitch again at the end of season as it as looked very poor compaired to last season.
