What can you say .... The man is target for lower league referees who want the fact they have sent PDC off on their CV's.

He didnt swear, just waved his hands and got a little animated ......... Interesting that when Ferguson or Mancini do it in the premiership they dont get 2 match bans?

See he's fallen out with another of his players. Kerrouche this time treated like Clarke was. How many times must it happen before you realise who the real poisonous person is?

Di Canio is utter vile scum as are the people who would prostrate themselves at his feet.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I'm buzzing for this. In the middle of doing a production of 'James and the Giant Peach' in Aberystwyth. Getting a train to Chesterfield on the night of the 24th, travelling with Old Goat down to London, coming back to Chesterfield, then getting a 6.30am train the next morning, to get back in Aberystwyth at 11am for a full day of rehearsals. Never has drama, wales and football been so beautifully juggled.

Come on you Blues!!
Carson Out.

Good afternoon, Swindon fan here ...

I have registered on your forum mainly for the banter just before the JP Final.

We do have a lot of mouthy fans who give it large and like our manager can be B****Y annoying to other supporters, but on the whole we (Swindon) fans are pretty decent and not just gobby louts most of you believe after reading a few comments on our forums.
We are very loud and passionate on our travels and will be at Wembley.

Good luck with the remainder of your league season.

You raise a couple of interesting points there young man:

Clarke - Fat, lazy and good job we got rid. When presented with chances infront of goal as you probably saw he is as good a lower striker as there is going. However under Mr Di Canio with his double training sesssions we have prided ourselves upon our fitness and the fact that as weaker teams tire we get stronger. Playing with high tempo and that being led by our front men in chasing and harrying the opposition defenders. Clarke is a fat lazy slob to whom this kind of work ethic is unknown. He hasnt been missed. We now have a squad of around 20 players who will each die for the cause and for eachother. This mentality has come from Paolo and for that we Swindon fans thank him for restoring our pride and faith in our football club.

Kerrouche - Seem him around town a few times puffing away on his fags like there is no tomorrow. Did well at the start of the season and scored a few but PDC saw a drop in his work rate and to an extent reflected in the fact he rarely has finished a game he has started. Now on loan at Oxford which isnt ideal, especially as if he gets a run he will bag a few for them. I hope soon Mehdi will sit in his back garden and reflect on the fact he could off got his head down and stayed with Swindon and chased for a league winners medal, but as it is he will be at Oxford going to scrape a play off spot at best.

PDC expects a lot of players. If he sees a drop in their workrate he is likely to give them a kick up there bum, but our players thus far have responded to this ... They have recognised what is possible with his guidance and our season to date more than reflects this.

I was going to join the Swindon forum but part of the registration process requires you to hold down 12 keys at once. This keeps the non Swindoners out.

Hello Boys and Girls

Looking forward to seeing you at Wembley on the 25th!

Intrigued by some of the comments on here about how well your playing recently. Had to log onto the BBC website to check the league table ... Yep, your still bottom ..... Yes, yes you may be in a higher league but there is some serious dross in that division outside of the top 5! Though some of your results recently look better. How bad were you Pre Jan? Have you made many signings in Jan that have helped start to turn things around?

I wouldnt read to much into our game on Tuesday. We got an early goal and controlled it with reletive ease. I think we could still have been playing now and Barnet wouldnt have scored. I think we have lost 2 in 22 or something along those lines. In the FA Cup we have beaten Premier League Wigan, Huddersfield at home 4-1 and won away at Colchester. In the league cup we won away the Championship Bristol City and in the JPT we have won away at Exeter. So just by the list of teams we have beaten I think we will be way more than just a threat.

Anyway I think we will beat you at Wembley and we'll be swapping leagues in May!

Love it mate!

Just like in the previous rounds of the JPT, Notts County, Tranmere, Preston and Oldham fans all thought they would just have to turn up to beat us. Keep on underestimating us, pay us no respect - we love it.

As for swapping places with us, if L1 is 4/5ths dross how come you got relegated lest season? Answer obvious, you were in the 4/5th dross. ;)

Last season we were totally awful. The year before we got to the play off final. It illustrates the thin line between success and failure.

It doesnt take much to go close in that division. Like an intelligent earlier poster commented, when one of your lot was saying how tough the division was ... Stevenage and Bury dont seem to be having it as tough as yourselves.

With our work ethic, drive and determination we will canter to the League 2 title this year and nexy year I would expect play offs as a minimum.

Shouldn't be. Just watched it. Swindon may be near the top but they are clearly a 4th division outfit. Not as good as they think they are! Reminded me of an average 4th Division outfit last season. Oldham had twice as much quality.

This statement makes me laugh. Have you thought that we might just be an average 4th division club? The fact still remains that we are not as strong as last season. Swindon are favourites, and rightly so in my opinion. On our day we can beat them, but Swindon will be thinking exactly the same thing.

Well said young man. The game should be pretty even and it is there for the taking for both teams. We might be a 4th division club in name but are clearly on an upward path.

Two teams who will look at eachother and fancy their chances. I for instance am glad we are playing your rather than a Sheffield club for example and you are probably glad it is us rather than a Charlton.

Out of interest .... Do you have players who are playing in your league games who will be unavailable for Wembley? I am guessing Ridehalgh wont be able to play as I am pretty sure he played for us in an earlier round.

Looks like we were both awful in L1 then, but both brilliant in L2 although I personally I don't think you are good enough to be the Champions, unlike us of course. Nice to see that we have had some considered posts from your more respectful colleagues, although I guess every team has its fare share of gobs*1*tes.

Don't come on here with statistics and facts, they are not welcome here. Now if you come with opinion and state it as fact you're more than welcome (R2D2esque). Can I resist the Tractor driving, cider drinking yokel jibe? Na too late! :windup

The other thing in our favour I am guessing would be a bigger financial structure to work within. We generally are getting about 8k for home games, which is great going in the bottom tier considering away teams bring about 50!

We'll go up, probably as champions and will be fine league 1. PDC just wouldnt let these players get away with what Danny Wilson let his mob of jokers get away with last year.
