Have a proper inspection at 10.30 am tomorrow you cannot say today what its going to be like tomorrow....we got to Carlisle last week and it started snowing ok it turned to rain but its colder down here this week....

 Think if the pitch is ok now the match should be "on".If we suffer with temps tonight we have to rely on the covers. If they fail to protect it'll be "tough luck" we'll have tried our best.

I know what you're saying Dema but there are quite a few games that have been called off already. Its not looking good with the temps forecast tonight.

But, surely you've got enough luxuries living in the promised land to chuck us one little favour!! :)
For a start people talk right, local beer doesn't taste like the river nene, then you've got all that awesome water! you don't even need conditioner when washing your hair when you've got buxton spring coming out the tap! Although i guess that is less of an issue for slapheads. :D

Terribly sorry ol' bean. When one has been "Down South", as you ruffians call it, for a couple of weeks or so, the accent does tend to slip somewhat.
'am sure it'll be back t'normal by ender t'game tommoz. yer gret aipeth.

Bit unfair Den - nowt wrong with Frog Island "Fire Bellied Toad", Hoggleys "Pump Fiction", Great Oakley "Gobble" or for a change - a drop of Potbelly "Beijing Black" (Mild)

...... imagine going into The Bold Dragoon and asking for a Gobble!!!

Oakley is fine, you're off the nene by that point.
I'm embittered by the awful awful stink that comes out of carlsberg that wafts down the river to my work.
In the king billy, ask for a carlsberg the till registers a pint of nene water. which is more complimentary than the kangaroo reference if you are crazy enough to ask for fosters.

ANYWAY.... It's been over an hour since the 'inspection'... Any News?

Steady on, Denny - he might wind folk up a bit with his apparent devotion to Hubbard, but...

Match on, subject to inspection tomorrow morning.
