He's injured mate! He also scored an equalising debut goal at Orient which signaled our mini revival. What about Randall? As much as i like him and think he will eventually win the fans over,he has contributed very little to our cause this season along with several others. Let's reserve judgement on Jimmy and the rest of our players untill the end of the season.

Randall is an excellent midfielder and just the sort of player we'll need if we're to progress. With the right set-up alongside him in midfield he'll be a class above what we've got at the moment.
Unfortunately he's already being judged on the basis that RPL rates him - so the knee-jerk reaction is against him. This is stupid - judge him on his merits when he gets an extended spell in the side. Which may not be this season since we're now in a position where we've got to win ugly.

his contract is up at the end of the season, hard to imagine him being offered a new deal

You and some others may have passed judgement on Randall but many of us can see a very good footballer in him. The lad is young and,at this moment in time, underdeveloped. I presume the clubs fitness coach's have been helping him to beef up a little so he is not so lightweight, but like h says,it could be next season before we see the best in him, provided he is still here of course.

It depends on quite a few things though. What division we are in will prob have some bearing on it,as will the fact we would have to replace him with someone equally as good,or better. But i suppose it will come down to money. Is it cheaper to persevere with Randall and try and bring him on,or spend money on someone else,be it free transfer which obviously still costs money,or pay a transfer fee for someone. Going on what the club has done this season regarding extended contracts,it would not surprise me to see him here next season.

We have indeed. But its a little unfair to start a thread about Jimmy's impact,or lack of it, when the guy has only played for us twice, scoring on his debut which earned us a point, the start of a 5 game unbeaten run.

He can't tackle and puts very little effort in. If he couldn't pass he wouldn't be a professional footballer.

He is obviously technically good but is he good enough to complete reorganise a side and system around as thats what you'd need to do to get him in the side? You cant play 4-4-2 with him in central midfield.

Juan was MOTM at Orient and head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch, had an apparently average game against... someone, I forget, then got injured.
I think he'll be good.
