"A clash between two former Sheffield Wednesday greats" (during an interview with Chris Turner a few minutes ago).

Town versus Swindon, not a Deedah in sight, but they somehow manage to crowbar a reference to the 'Massive' in anyway.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

With such a MASSIVE club right on our doorstep, we are truly honoured to get a mention at all and should gratefully accept any mention at all.
A new hope.

Didn't either of the 'massive' clubs make the JPT final this year then? Oh well, with bit of luck, they can both try a bit harder next year! :D

I thought exactly the same!

It's something Yorkshite people have always done (For God's sake, Doncaster even tried to claim Robin Hood!)

Did you also hear them talking about it prooving how 'massive' Bowels v Blunts is, because they need to show it at Bramall Lane on "Beam Back "?

To be fair, Little John's grave is in Hathersage, which is in Yorkshire.

If you come from Sheffield.

Doesn't that make their claims even MORE ludicrous?!

He didn't even exist, and they're trying to claim him!

have you got proof of this, cos i've seen him in quite a few films now, yes he does look a bit different in each of them but that could be down to improvements in cameras or lighting, but i've definately seen him...... more than once, .........

and i've been to the major oak at edwinstowe (his house apparently  ), (he could use a cleaner), so he must be real

Is that because the Derbyshire Peak District is in Yorkshire?

I was once asked to sign a petition to keep BBC local radio from someone from BBC Radio Merseyside. I asked her if she could send a map of the BBC Radio Sheffield colleagues to explain that they cover north Derbys , north notts and south Yorkshire.

I did sign the petition though

Come off it Chris, we know what radio Sheffield is like, it pays very little attention to non-Sheffield clubs and never has done unless you mention our famous cup run.

But you have to admit there are a couple of our fans, including yourself, who scramble to dial the 0114.... many evenings of the week to use said radio station as a soap box. We can't have it both ways.

Their coverage of us, as you so rightly pointed out is poor and we as with all the other clubs in the catchment area are not given a fair deal.

Perfect! Just what they say! Whilst I'm replying to you Stuart, do you know if they ever faced each other as players for opposing teams? Does anyone else know without googling it?
