But what if this was the other way round? East stand st holders wouldn't give a damn about us in the south stand if we had to wait.

I'm suprised by all this, id have thought the chance to see town at wembley would have dwarfed over all problems like this. As long as I get a seat in wembley for the big day I couldn't care less.

Thats the point, you couldnt care less, but someone else who has say three kids and the mrs to pay for and is on limited resources will care less and why should he be compromised in any form or way.

I would say extra staff doesn't make one iota of difference - it is the number of computer terminals that staff have to work with.

It is likely that each transaction could take 2/3 minutes with alternative seats being sought when preferred seats have gone.

I could understand the concerns of people if there was a likelyhood of a sell out - that won't happen will it.

If you want to jump the queue get someone else to buy your tickets.

again.....not an east stand st holder i assume

take it by your response that youre not an east stand season ticket holder then !!!

I am actually, I just can't see everyone on the kop and West stands all rushing on day one to get multiple tickets for a match 6 weeks away.

Probably not, but this could well be counter balanced by the one season ticket holder who is going to get 53 tickets for the coach he has booked for him and his local boozer.

Thats what you get for being a loyal fan at our club! Thankfully my lads working now, so will be purchasing his own ticket and the daughter isn't interested, but it doesn't stop me seeing how it can be a real costly job for some people and to be a loyal season ticket holder and not get a chance of obtaining the cheaper priced bracket tickets isn't fair at all!

as a ST holder in the east stand FAMILY STAND, will i be able to get tickets in the FAMILY ENCLOSURE at wembley(only 850 tickets available), if not why not, i should in that case be given priority for family areas as myself and my family already sit in that area, i don't want to be sat next to some pist up moron effin an blinding his way through 90 mins, and my family should not have to put with it either.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

jamie

have you emailed the club and made them aware that this is going to happen? I have but had no response yet. Maybe if we all bombard them to complain about the idiotic approach to not limiting tickets they might at least impose some sort of limit - oh wait a minute.. its chesterfield.....they dont give a dam about the fans so maybe not !

Agreed! An easy way around it would be to split the stands into four/two and do four/two different dates that you can purchase the tickets, but only make a quarter/half of all tickets available on these occasions. IF you needed to do this again for ST and MCH's then repeat the selling dates, but lift the restriction of quarter/ half tickets available, then open it up for the free for all. This way EACH STH would get their fair chance and the demand at the ground would be eased also.

Not hard really. This way isn't fair and like I've said before I'm alright (South Stand STH), but I'm not an alright Jack type of guy. Why should I get better perks for my ST than others that pay less, the same or more than me?

i did wonder but surely the club can choose how it sells tickets to its own matches. If the non limiting is down to the fa then the club surely has to make it a fair playing field and let all season ticket holders be able to buy at the same time - so what if theres queues - if youre adamant you want to sit in a specific place you'll go down early - if youre not bothered then you'll wait till the queues have gone down, either way everyones happy

I`m not so sure dema, theres a lot of interest down this way from folk who have never attended the b2net before, I originally said around 15,000 from Chesterfield..I think the 20,000 is now a definite possibility.

I'm not sure who has set the no limit policy but even though we are selling the tickets its not "our match" as such and we are just selling on behalf of the Football League who are in charge of the match. The fact there are these processes to follow in terms of details for all people involved for purchases of 10 or more and the stuff about ratio of adults to juniors and alike make me think that the club are just doing as they've been told.

That said it will be interesting to see how they handle big full coach requests for tickets from folk who arent proper junior football clubs and alike and how they fit things such as ofsted guidelines and the details for every person involved. I'm not sure the 10 or more ticket policy is intended for things like a bloke booking a bus for him and his mates to go from the pub.

they only had 1 window at saltergate and sue coped, the current set is much better and should cope better, those it does seem from the attitude you get when purchasing tickets, that they don't like work,

why not put tickets on sale from under the west stand like they do when handing out ST's as well as from the windows,

Spot on mate, totally agree, Im not a Family Stand ST holder and it doesnt affect me, but why should I (if I wanted to) be able to access FS tickets as easily as say you could, it isnt fair FS ST holders should have first dibs on Wembley FS tickets, its common sense!!

^this^

While getting tickets for the JPT I was told other ST holders in our group who missed the allotted day could get them any other day afterwards. So basically an East stand holder could be queuing with West and South holders who missed their days.

Just an idea - there are 3 windows and 3 stands. Have a separate queue for each stand and sell them to all from day one. Although some will moan if their queue is longer than another and they have to wait longer to be served, apart from one long queue it is the fairest way of allocating tickets to 3 stands.

theres only 3 ticket windows how many staff do you need

ARE YOU SAYING 3 WINDOWS WILL NOT BE MANNED - IN THAT CASE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE A QUIET TIME WHEN TO VISIT.

You are then not taking into account the purchases taking place over the telephone at the same time.

Actually I'm going with a group of st holders from the east stand so instead of me giving my money to them they are all giving there money to me so I'm helping out the ones who have to wait. And I would gave gladly gone for anyone else had I not got to buy so many tickets (for st holders calm down) now.

Probably not intended, but nothing to stop it, if a ST holder turns up for 50 tickets and had his list of names and addresses, he gets the 50 tickets... as there are no limits!

I guess it would be wrong for a season ticket holder to buy tickets for ppl who have never been to a game, before all season ticket holders/loyalty card holders, like i said you can find holes everywhere in this system,i have the deaerst season ticket of all 3 stands and have to wait until wednesday,it can't be right nor fair.....but will have to join the queue like everyone else.....
