queue management is behind the decision to sell stand by stand. Unless somebody is wanting 200-300 tickets in a block together I can't see why folks are getting wound up about this, the game won't be a sell out

ok, so queue management i can understand, but surely, to help this, the more tickets available on-line, the easier it is to manage a queue! They can still release them in blocks of priority.

Because East Stand ST holder might want say five or six tickets for his whole family and may be on a limited budget, chances are there will be no £26 tickets left and as daft as it seems, may not be any £36 ones left as there are only 1500 & 8000 respectively.
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

also, saying about people being wound up. It is not an issue if you are one of the early ones and get the tickets you want, but it is an issue for us later in the queue, waiting for what is left. and to echo what lots of other people are saying, for all of us who go to the games regular, to find these glory seekers getting priority when they don't even know their way to the B2NET winds me up also. And yes, maybe the game will not be a sell out and they will release more tickets, but the additional tickets they release may well be ones that are not so good either...RANT OVER (for now), but the logic for release is grossly unfair to the regular fans.

Cricks ? only problems i can see if ppl want to sit together at Wembley but sit in different stands at home games may not be able to.....

Not really...with the no limit policy then they just get one person to buy them together.

The game may not be, but the 1500 cheap tickets may have gone to glory hunters with a ST holding mate, days before us East Standers get a chance to buy them. As somebody has mentioned, I could understand selling West, East then South, but at the moment the people who paid the least for their ST's get first dibs!!
I can understand the club thinking about queues, but either limit the tickets per person or do it as a first come first saved basis.

To be honest however they sold them the fact they've only released 1500ish £26 tickets there was always going to be a problem with regard to availability of them.

and that is about maximising profitability i.e. sell as few tickets as possible where the margin is low. Money grabbing bar stewards.

Its mainly because they arent using the parts of the ground that would normally be the "cheap seats". They are the top tier which wont be opened unless demand means its necessary.

But what if this was the other way round? East stand st holders wouldn't give a damn about us in the south stand if we had to wait.

I'm suprised by all this, id have thought the chance to see town at wembley would have dwarfed over all problems like this. As long as I get a seat in wembley for the big day I couldn't care less.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

this football club is an effing joke, they blocks up evry opportunity to get fans on side, and get them to come to see the team, why is there a need for this stand sales policy, ffs, the football ground stands all by its self in the middle of a massive carpark, where folk could queue round 3 times over if need be, what they should be doing is PUTTING MORE STAFF ON, to cope with demand, not pfissing punters off by segragating sales, who makes these decisions, they want sacking.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

thats not true regarding being the other way around and not giving a damn, as the same issue of unfairness would exist, whichever way it happened.

I would say extra staff doesn't make one iota of difference - it is the number of computer terminals that staff have to work with.

It is likely that each transaction could take 2/3 minutes with alternative seats being sought when preferred seats have gone.

I could understand the concerns of people if there was a likelyhood of a sell out - that won't happen will it.

If you want to jump the queue get someone else to buy your tickets.
God I hate this league.

they only had 1 window at saltergate and sue coped, the current set is much better and should cope better, those it does seem from the attitude you get when purchasing tickets, that they don't like work,

why not put tickets on sale from under the west stand like they do when handing out ST's as well as from the windows,

lessons in how to wind up the customers by cfc, a bestseller.
