so instead of being discriminated against and moved outside the ground like b2net for a ciggy (no hazard, concrete and open air)i will be forbidden from smoking at half time? think that is my human rights infringed, maybe i should wear a school uniform and feel the the child i'm tret like for having a totaly legal habit. as if it wont be bad enough on the way down lol. looks like a trip to the chemist for some patches is in order.

You cant go 90 or so minutes without a puff ?! Blimey!
If you feel yr human rights are being infringed you could watch it at home on tv and smoke as much as you like on the sofa?

Thought that Madonna was pretty good at the Superbowl last night. Do you think we can expect something similar at the JPT next month?

Phil Taylor, former Motorhead drummer is an option, bit of Ace of Spades banging out at half time. Prefer Jo Guest though.

Have you seen Jo Guest lately? Ageing and illness has NOT been kind to the poor lass.

There was only one Thomson Twin who was born in these neck of the woods, Bolsover I believe it was.

Perhaps John Hurt could recite some Shakespeare at half-time? Or failing that get TV critic Ian Hyland to read out one of his columns? Though Spireite or not, I can't stick that smug *** Hyland so maybe not. Anyhoo, hasn't If Carlsberg Made Chairman already produced our half-time entertaiment with his brilliant Hubbard video, or is that the pre-show?? :)

Well how about that bloke from Then Jericho? Also the drummer from The Human League went to school with my sister.
John Hurt didnt look that great in Tinker Taylor either, mind you having an Alien come out of your stomach doesnt help.

Well he was playing an ill man! Good film, I watched it only a few days ago. A lot like the classic Alec Guinness BBC serial, but more concise, obviously.

Wrong, 2 of them were, both Pete Dodd & Jon Podgorski were both born in the borough! By the time they were famous though they had left the band!

Yes, my mistake, I should have said grew up here, not born. Apologies, though not too many apologies, we are resorting to discussing the bleeding Thomson Twins after all! ;)
