I'm with you on this thought. Add Allott as well.

Dave - I think you'll find that on the vast majority of games I call the result before a ball is kicked. I didn't do yesterday as I went to the Chesterfield Beer Festival for opening time and a long session. NB: I fancied us for a draw on the basis that Lowry would replace Allott and Ajose to replace Boden.

Now then sharp ###### just a quick 1 for you, what was the score when Boden went off and was replaced by Ajose? Not that I'm blaming Ajose but I bet Bodens tracking back contributes a lot more than you give him credit for (in fact did I just put credit in a post aimed at you, I shall take myself across to the wall and bang my head repeatedly)

Why is it bad man management regarding Lowry and then the complete opposite in Bodens case.

Bodens a striker - a none goalscoring striker is about as much use as t**ts on a boar.

Dave - I feel that ever considering starting with Boden tells you everything. He's not good enough at the minute. Would expect him to be released. Bringing JL back and dropping him is almost as bad as JS's management of JB.

He's been an integral part of our upturn in form of late.

Dave - if Boden starts in front of Ajose then its time for the P45.

I thank you for your confidence in trusting me to pick the team but I think you might be a little premature!

One of the few things you have said during the last few days that I wholeheartedly agree with!

If the squad was fully fit:-

Lee

Hurst Trotman Thompson Robertson

Westcarr Lowry Davis Ridehalgh

Lester Ajose

Subs

Talbot, Juan, Randall, Ford, Bowrey

NB: I'd take a chance with no reserve goalie

Another one citing Lowry for central with no real evidence other than supposedly a couple of apps there for Crewe and a couple for us under Rico where he looked woefully out of position!!

I was going to say that. I'd keep that side but move Lowry left in place of Ridehalgh who takes Robertson's place. Allott alongside Davis has generally worked so I'd play those two.

Isn't that like saying the Space Shuttle Challenger generally worked?

Unfortunately we don't have 100% reliable options. They don't exist in League One and certainly not in the relegation zone. You make the best of what you have and Allott and Davis are that.
