Doubt Harry will ever be England manager he's too dodgy...

Isn't there an investigation as to why he kept buying ex Portsmouth players....apparently he had it written in their contracts whilst at Portsmouth that he got a slice of the players transfer fee when they moved on....hence why he signed loads of them from Portsmouth for Tottenham. Yes some are decent players but come on Harry when try to buy Portsmouths 3rd choice keeper, random defenders and midfielders that didn't even get in the Portsmouth squads etc....I better put allegedly...

Agreed, the FA sacked El Tel for less in a period when England started playing properly! Please note the ironic Portsmouth connection again though!

To us that's a lot, to them its pocket change. A lot of united fans seem to think Wednesday are going to get the book thrown at them but it won't happen

WTF has it got to do with us????

I imagine that Mandy will no longer be fit & proper if he's convicted in a UK court of an offence of fraud. But it won't change the fact of his ownership, of course.

They think if mandaric gets affected that it will affect the club. Jeez stop thinking that everyone here has an agenda against your club

George Graham got hung, drawn and sacked for accepting transfer bungs, I reckon this little lot will prove to be much bigger.

They'll produce a film on it one day, 'When Harry Met Mandy'.
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

How does that work? The Pompey players had clauses in their contracts which said money would be payable to their former manager if they moved on?

He's always been a wheeler-dealer. And I mean that in the sense which annoyed him when Sky suggested it.
These go to eleven.

Just on Sky news they`ve been reading extracts from Redknapps police interview in court and if I heard it right it appears that Harry is trying to shift the blame onto Mandaric!!
Also the Sky bod said that even if convicted, due to the amount (£186,000?), he thought it was unlikely to lead to a custodial sentence!

It'll cost him a fortune if HMRC are awarded costs.

Knew about this a good while back; friend's dad works in the judiciary system and knows the counsel involved......this is only scratching the surface of the dealings that have gone on.

I've just had a Scooby-doo moment. Harry's rather ill-fitting mask will be tugged off to reveal Terry Venables.

Harry Redknapp has reported Roberto Mancini to the FA after Mancini waved an imaginary tax return at him.

Anybody who owns more than 30% of shares in a football club has to pass a "fit and proper persons test". If that said person is convicted of fraud, tax evation, VAT evation etc then chances are he will fail the test and be disqualified from owning more than 30% of shares in the club.

That, my friend, is what it has to do with you.
