Sheridan refused to go to the post match press conference yesterday, but it is about time they made the match officials go to these conferences instead of just sloping off scott free.....

I reckon you'll disagree and yes, I think we should have had a pen, but the officials didn't decide it yesterday- Charlton's domination of the midfield did.
One thing that I wonder about is how, in a country where freedom of speech is supposed to be sacrosanct, how can the FA sanction managers for expressing their views about officials and opponents? I'm not talking about during the game, where red cards can be fairly issued, but afterwards.

Maybe so but the officials decisions cost games,so why don't we sort out our midfield instead of saying Allott does this Allott does that he is Mr Wonderful bull crap,i cannot see what he brings to our team,we bought Randall in,he has hardly featured, whether he is any good is another question, another thing they will dominate midfield if we keep giving them the ball back when trying to clear our lines from the back all the time....

Keith old pal, your view don't matter, Mr Sheridan judges Allot and Whittaker has his preferred choice. As our defenders only commented recently Allot is worth his weight in gold to them.

One day my friend he willl be replaced and then and only then will you see a difference,he is in the team because there is no one else, our defenders are not in the best place to judge on some of there performances either....

apart from the other midfielders in our squad you mean??
It speaks volumes that when Sheridan brought in a class box-to-box midfielder in Johnson, he chose to partner him with Allott.
He may not have the legs he used to but his vision, constant availability to team mates and ability to keep posession make him one of the first names on the team sheet.

You will understand one day when you are enthusing at a good midfielder,if you are honest with yourself you cannot say that now.....

not the old "i'm older then you" blah blah blah "i've seen more games than you've had hot dinners" blah blah blah argument again Dema?
I have seen enough football to see what Allott does (on and off the ball) to know he is as good a CM as we have had for a long time, and certainly the best we have on our books currently.
I reiterate my point, one of the first names on the team sheet.
BTW, assuming you rate John Sheridan, and his footballing ethos, what position did he excel at, during his relatively successful playing career?

Not at all,it doesn't matter what position Sheridan played it still will not change my opinion.....i get behind whoever plays on a match day and no one can say i don't.....

Vice versa to your opinion too Josh,Johnson can play pin point crosses across the pitch and he does it regular and he does the more adventurous passes as well as the short stuff Allott is so masterful at....
