knowing that he has played under shezza before has given me a little more confidence about. ive neva really seen him play but heard alot of bad stuff about him, im guessin JS wouldnt have gone for him if he knew he couldnt do a job!!!!

Mate of mine is a wendy and mentioned he (Clarke) was a bit of a porker which is why they loaned him out immediately. Mate also mentioned that once he was fit he's strong, good touch, and a good shot, the downfall was that he doesn't always 'turn up'.

6'2 and 11 goals in 21 games at league one level, if that's what he's gonna be like then I'll have no complaints.

That's a good strike rate and like yourself, if he can keep up that sort of performance then I don't care about his 'bad boy' reputation. Welcome to Chesterfield Mr. Clarke. Prove the critics wrong, like Craig Davies did last season.
