He sounds like the exact type of player we've been looking for to be honest. Really looking forward to Saturday now

It'll cost us. He only signed a 2 year contract with Swindle Town this summer!

This is Swindle we're talking about don't forget, they'll want their 30 pieces of silver. (that'd be £15 using biggest silver coins BTW

they might be desperate to get him off the wage bill as he's no longer welcome there, so may release him on a free, or we could take over his contract aka currie to the daggers??

Re a 3 month loan - SCENARIO - Di Canio gets the sack. New manager - can Clarke (if we ever sign him) be re-called?
Shouldn't CFC be clear and state 3 months with a view to signing in January?

We've not 'officially' signed him yet so why not wait until it's on the Official Site before criticising the club for not being clear enough and stating that there is a view to him signing in January?

Then we could just say that we don't want him... ?

And I am sure that the web site wont contain all clauses of the contract so we wont know and dont need to know what it says about recalls and potential perm signing....

I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt happen til tomorrow as i suspect it makes more use of the 93 days were he to stay the full length of time he can. In terms of recalls then one cant be inserted into the deal for the first month but they can after that but not sure if they have to be or just if the loaning club wants one. It will depend on whats been arranged between the two clubs.
Depends if we are looking to sign him long term and if it is in there it needs to cover us as well should he not do well or get injured. Last thing we need is him getting stuck with someone on a long term injury cos the loan deal was done leaving our hands tied to sign him in Jan. Also the timing of any deal today or tomorrow would mean a few weeks where he was in limbo waiting for the window to re-open to complete the deal where he would have to go back to Swindon which may not suit them as they dont appear, currently, to want him anywhere near the place!!

If it is to happen then it may not be done til tomorrow depending on when the 93 days is up to ensure we get full use of him. No point signing him today if it meant his loan deal expired the day before a game or something.
