I've just had a look at a thread on the league two message board about Clarke and was shocked at what I read,

I will "love it" just "love it" if Leon turns out to be a sensation here! Surely he must understand that this is his last chance saloon! Good luck Leon...

Sheridan wants to get him in a room on his own and sit him down before anyrhings made official. he needs to be put strait on what WE expect of him and what WE want from him.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion about a players skill and ability, and there will always be a divide... but give him an idea of what his future holds with us and if he wants in then id happily give him a chance.

Just been informed this rumour is 100% true.

What's also rumoured is that Town are financing the deal by selling the rights for the first bust-up between JS and Clarke to Sky Ringside, whilst seats nearest the dugout have doubled in price due to demand from fight fans.

Your not allowed to post 'funnies' Chris, if that was one.

Its possible he will change his mind if Clarke scores regularly for us and Swindon struggle to find the net.

No chance of Adolf Di Canio wanting to keep Clarke even if he bangs in 30 odd goals for us and I doubt Clarke wants to play for him again either.

His attitude may stink but at least he will make Morgan look like Harry Potter (ref recent antics)

Just the aggressive tonic we need up front; some real bite to him.

Leon aggresive !!!! I think not, where have you got that opinion from.
God I hate this league.

Yes but the last eighteen months or so have revealed that players who have played under Sheridan before, don't have a problem in doing so again

Did he play under/with Danny Wilson - excuse the termanology..

Why?what did ford do wrong? People are going to find holden is a squad player this season. I like holden, did a great job for us last season. Trouble is,he is not as quick as he prob used to be. While ever grounds is here, and ford is fit, holden will be on the bench. Is that fair? Maybe, maybe not,but thats football.

I think Holden and Robertson are stronger in the air. Both Ford and Holden will surely be out when Mattis is fit, unless JS wants to move Dwayne to midfield

Leon will 'hold the ball up front - something we've been sadly missing - hope we don't go long ball too much, that's not his game.

Either way,we have competition now for the back four and midfield, which can only be good.
