Groaning Moaners (opposite of Happy Clappers)

Only happy when they're moaning. Nothing wrong when there's a point, of course, but I think Odysseus mentioned something that hit the nail on the head last week - the fact that it's never balanced and they can ONLY criticise can't be a constructive thing, and only attempts to drag the club, the team and the fans down.
Moan Moan MOAN!

I do have a problem when it seems to go on and on over the same ground again and again, without really developing
EDIT : I generally try not to moan , as football is a leisure activity for me and i have precious little enough without moaning through it

Exactly - on and on, unconstructively

I’m sure the Management team, board and 99% of supporters will be eternally grateful for your ‘persistence’ in stating the obvious.

I would suggest that blindly Happy Clapping is as unconstructive as Groany Moaning. A bit of balance is all that I'd ask for. Something obviously needed to be done (before the start of the season would have been nice!), but the nature of the moaning was unbalanced and unconstructive, and just damn annoying.

Not obvious to the clappers mate, it wasn't so long ago that were was a six page thread about how JB would be the answer this year, or the one about Morgs being a striker, or the one about how Drew was originally signed as a striker, those views seemed to have changed, mine hasn't.

Also whats makes you more of a TRUE FAN than others? If you are the definition of a true fan then we really are in the ###### support wise.

Interviewer : So john, Leon Clarke has joined?
JS: Yeah , I have worked with him before, and we hope to make it permanent
I: So was it the injury to Lester that forced your hand, or did you want to strengthen anyway
JS: Neither really, Search and Destroy on the message board was unhappy so i thought i better placate him
will make for a good listen

Almost everything on here is based on individual or group speculation and while it does provoke some interesting "discussion" it is just that - interesting discussion - not fact!
All I ask is everyone keeps the number of duplicate threads to a minimum because it makes it so much harder to follow and reference.
btw, I'm a clapper in so much as I clap at the match, I'm happy because I support CFC and I groan/moan when we concede a goal or miss an opportunity (on of off the pitch).

I haven’t read one post on here (Not saying one doesn’t exist somewhere) that we didn’t need to replace Craig Davies. Perhaps some of the more tolerant supporters have felt the need to counter some of the OTT negativity that has engulfed the club to the point that they have withheld their own criticisms. That said I do feel the club should accept criticism for not being sufficiently prepared come the start of the season given the record season ticket sales and general support of the clubs since its upturn in fortunes.
Let’s hope the arrival of Clarke will kick start our season into life. I think all CFC supporters will agree with that.

Happy Clappers are not good for society, they accept the status quo, they do not feel worthy, they are unambitious, they don't push themselves, happy just to have a roof over their heads, meekly accept their fate in life, they are just grateful, paradise to them is cheap beer and overtime, happy at Skeg in the van, so what if their car is 15 years old, it gets them from A to B.
Remember the phrase " You've never had it so good?"
Its the favorite phrase of those who've never had it better.
