But thats not the question??

The question was unanswerable really because how do we know how versatile players were in the past for the reason we always had dedicated players to fill positions. Unlike now where we have wingers at RB and wingers playing as strikers. If JS had a proper balanced side then Drew would never have gone to RB and we would not be asking the question now

Are you trying to say that all our other managers in history had a balanced squad and JS is the only one that can't seem to achieve this, even in our championship winning season Fish? ;)

Rubbish of course. Tom Fenoughty came as CF and became a quite brilliant midfielder, Roy Poole converted from full back and scored 4 goals on his first, or one of his first outings as a striker, Andy Kowlakski made his debut at full back, played as striker, winger and of course in midfield, Albert Holmes, mostly a full back played up front on occasions. John Osboune (GK) was an England schooboy outfield international. Sean O'Neill, full back and midfield; and that's just from memory.

No of course not but but when have we had a manager who didn't have a proper RB and any Strikers. RB and Strikers have been a problem before the end os last season and they havent been addressed
