Hope not but this could be the last we see of Jack on a fairly regular basis. No matter what happens he has already achieved "Spireite legend" status. Get well soon Jack.

Not with a two year contract. Plus he still enjoys the game, even if he has had a hard start. Hope when he does retire the club gives him a job coaching the kids or strikers.

He cant retire without it costing him big time He would have to pay up his contract or the insurance would and that isnt going to happen while it will keep him out for a while its his arm and that won't stop him playing on Jack will be back ready to go Jack is now A legend and I am glad to have seen him grace Saltergate and The B2 Net and look forward to him playing again ASAP

One of the main reasons why he'll have retired is because he wouldn't have had any league teams chasing after him. Either that or they would'nt have wanted to offer him the contract he wanted so he'll have decided to call it a day.
That aint gonna happen for Jack cos he's always gonna get the best reception when he comes out on the pitch from us lot so he'll always know that he's always gonna be wanted. Even if he did'nt get a contract offer in the future the manager (whoever it is) would get so much abuse that they'd keep him at the club in some sort of capacity.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.
