On a similar but slightly different theme, how many of us are going to visit Colchester Utd’s new Community Stadium, as it is the first opportunity to tick it off the 92?

Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole truth, or the only truth.

If your going by car guys and using sat nav, do not go into Colchester now. Stay A12 as they have built a new slip road directly onto the site.

If you had been and experienced the absolute humiliation of them in front of their own fans and seen the pure hatred towards us, you would think money well spent.
God I hate this league.

Pride Park for me.

I was in a box for the opening game at Pride Park for a friendly v Sampdoria. I suppose they did a good enough job of building it but I've been a few times with Derby-supporting mates and it's like watching football in a leisure centre- sterile. For a time I was really scared that all new football grounds would be identikit Pride Park/Riverside/St Marys clones so to see ourselves as a small club produce something distinctive in the form of the B2Net has been a pleasure.

Depends exactly what you want to contribute to their pot.
These go to eleven.

Went to Feethams in nineties for an FA Cup first or second round match. Absolutely siled it down, got sodden wet through and think Darlo beat us 3-2...maybe 2-1, my memory is getting poor in my old age. Not the best day out!

Wasn't that the EJ Parker game where he sent off three of ours including Hebberd in the tunnel afterwards?

I studied up that way so visited Feethams a few times- cracking old ground with a lot of character, smack in the centre of a pleasant town. The best match was when we won 1-0 in 1994/95, the fans chairing Andy Beasley off the pitch as we chased Walsall for promotion.....

Still one of the best nights ever; am I right though wasn't it also sweet revenge for a heavy defeat they had inflicted on us at Saltergate the previous season?
