I suspect now he's here folk will want him to do well but if i was RPL i would be hoping that after months of going on about him and him now signing he is really hoping he does well....if he doesnt he has set himself up for a massive fail!!

Not me, poor signing imo, good job its only for 1 year, he's proven he can't hack it in the Championship, League 1 and League 2 so far so it doesn't look promising at all.

Not an inspiring signing for me at all.

Perhaps the BIG NEWS for us is that we aren't able to sign the type of players we all thought we should be able to now off the back of bigger crowds and new stadium etc.

He's played in Champions League and the Premier league for one of the best footballing clubs there is and still aged only 21. Loads of potential if you ask me. Just hope that he doesn't do a Davies and walks away for free on the back of an excellent season.

proven what exactly? he's been on loans to crap sides and had a few ill timed injuries. lets see him in action after a full preseason and support from a good manager and staff. if you're right then fine, but he's not proven he can't hack it, total nonsense. that's like me saying you can't hack it studying at uni so you're doing an NVQ and you'll never be good in any job you go for as a result. Utter nonsense, it's about the backing you get and the guidance you receive. Just look at Alan Sugar and Richard Branson - no quals - and they're some of the leading business people. you would have written them off before they started.

We all know he had a terrible time at Rotherham and didn't want to play for them, as stated in the interview he said that Rotherham was the wrong move for him. Lets give the lad a chance and get behind him, he'll fit in perfectly here with his attacking presence.
