But if they offered you 4000 a month would you take it or say it's ok I don't need the extra??
[/quote]

lol I'd say ta' very much, i'll have that.......but my original point...was relating to the guy going to Crawley (wtf) just for more money; 'professionally' i would like to move forward not backwards, i'd want to test myself against better players and improve my own game, if i moved forward and that came with more money then so be it. Obviously other factors would come in to it; personal, logistical, geographical but finance would not be my priority....who can't live 'comfortably' on £4000.00 a month?

quote name='Westbars Spireite' timestamp='1308850474' post='577393']
I wasn't directly quoting you. It was th. impression it gave.

I'd play for nothing but hardly the point!

Anyway footballers have needs, even in division four. A lower quality WAG still has maintenance costs and rims on Range Rovers cost a fortune.

Brilliant.............

No one, how ever with more money your standard of living increases, holiday destinations and the amount you have a year, better car, house etc etc

Holiday homes, buying property to rent etc, you get the drift

Look at it this way my friend - at least your not laid in bed to the middle of the afternoon and then having to make that weekly visit to the dole.

Any prospective employer WILL CHOOSE YOU over another candidate whilst you show you are willing to get out there and get some work experience under your belt meanwhile.
God I hate this league.

Sounds to me that youve bought the left wing propaganda.... Our woes are not down to the feckless (good word btw) but certainly not to those who have made good of and for themselves (doesn't have to be money.). Our current woes are down to many things... to lack of regulation that ocurred in the banks, pursuit of money as an idol, reckless public spending, Brown being inept and incompetent before and after.

As for the inaccuracies of my idea on effort and reward you offer no reply other than it's inaccurate. Where there's a will there's a way.

But as you say......cant we just sign someone???!!

I think the inequalities in opportunity are well documented & simply, any entrepreneur you care to mention makes money out of the hard work & effort of his employees, contractors etc. Nobody makes it to the top without the help of others. That's a good illustration of the need for cooperation & exposes the utter stupidity of the 'devil take the hindmost' philosophy so popular amongst those who tolerate or even celebrate the excesses of those at the top end of the earning scale, just because they think they might be there one day & they don't want any kind of conscience to get in the way of their mad dash to consumer heaven (hell more like!)
