What i'm saying here is that it could have been a hell of a lot worse.

Its can't be lot worse than having it all over the national papers. I know what you are saying but the sanctions we receive from the fa will reflect the assault and the pitch invasions, not how hard he hit him.

I if turns out that we are fined, and knowing UEFA's reputation for stamping down on Johnny Foreigner, would anyone accept now, for us, the fines that the clubs in last night's El Classico are likely to be hit with, or would we gamble? The two cases are wildly different, of course, but I watched it thinking "How can we expect high standards of all the fans, when the players with the magazine lifestyles and endorsement contracts are setting such a poor example?"

I would expect a suspended fine with a stern warning with it being a first offence, but being in the lowest league it should follow suit with the pittance we receive in other aspects........

If I was a Real Madrid fan I would seriously embarrassed at what went on last night. Those craving Mourinho's return to England will do well to watch that game in full.

More damaging to football than our incident in my opinion.

You might as well give Martin Allen a blank cheque. You'd end up with the same approach from the players and management.
