You're right, god, not thrashing a child is sooooooooooo wet! Earlier today I kicked the face of a kitten, because I'm completely dry.

Behave yourself. From first hand experience nothing acted as a better deterrant or punishment for me other than a crack.

In the interests of democracy, genuine free press and to avoid the utilitarian dumbing down of television and news coverage I would ask everyone to avoid anything owned by Rupert Murdoch.
Fox news anyone? The Tea Party? Sarah Palin for USA President?

Please do not see this as condoning pitch invasions etc, see this as an anti Murdoch corporation party political broadcast!
Dancers are considered mad by those who cant hear music.

What has that got to do with punishing a child?

How many have never bought a copy of the mirror ever again? I certainly haven't, this is the same kind of thing.

Press/FA don't like town, end of.

If the Press/FA dont like us, ask yourself why. Stop being an apologist for appalling behaviour.

 Oh, you were only talking about hitting kids! Silly me! That's perfectly normal. Sorry, I got over-excited.

Well where have you lot been, all season I have been reading articles on here showering nothing but praise and admiration for our first season at the b2net.

We or should I say they, have put us up there to be shot at by a cowardly, ferrel display.

Didn't hear much support for the Millers incidents, all full of gloating indignation we were. To call for a boycott because you feel ashamed by it is at the least petty.

Did this incident not occur, has the story been 'spun', are they dragging up our past and linking it to this - don't think so.

WAIT UNTIL THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE PAPER COMES OUT SUNDAY - WE WILL BE HEAD LINERS.
God I hate this league.

There is some hypocrisy here, guys. Young Demetri has been given lots of praise and sympathy for his good nature but this little girl, who no-one seems to know, is cursed up hill and down dale. Imagine how she feels now. She's still got to face her mates and teachers at school and by the look of her she is only about 10 years old. How can you say it's OK to humiliate her in the national media at such a young age? I feel more ashamed of some of you on here than I do of the pitch invaders.

Life is full of learning my friend, compassion is a strange bed fellow with what was on show.

She's managed to humiliate herself by putting herself in that position. She, or you, cant blame the press or anyone else on here.

You go photographing 10 year old girls and publish their pictures and tell me how you get on. Pretty soon you would be in the Sun and that's the hypocrisy.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Actually, I can. What about the hero who referred to her as trash?

perhaps football should have similar rating like they have at the pictures kids under a certain age should not be sold tickets unless accompanied by a adult.I first started going to games in the early 70s and would not have been allowed to go unless my father was going ,but that was for my own safety rather than what I might get up to...lol Perhaps segregation changed this attitude with parents, but far to many these days dont care what their kids are doing when out of sight.

Think thats a slightly different take on the subject and you well know that. This was taken by a newspaper photographer and only happened cos the individuals put themselves in that position and acted like utter idiots. Whats the difference between this young girl being shown sticking fingers in the face of the keeper and the young lad in the town shirt who has made it in and is just wandering round on the pitch or the lad actually punching the keeper who doesnt appear to be much older than her?

The only people to blame here are those on the pitch!

i'd check with social services, them bstrds will snatch your kids first then ask questions later.

You genuinely have no idea how Social Services work do you? What you suggest would never happen. It takes a he'll of a lot more than that to take kids from anyone.

Also why's everyone got such a downer on the Sun. We've had some cracking positive coverage from them this season. Yeah it's not the most intellectual paper in the world, but sometimes you just need a quick read of the main newspaper stories and a bit of human interest stuff as well.
There are no extreme views in it and it generally captures the mood of the public pretty well. There's very little political bias unlike other papers and their support for things such as help thr heroes is exemplary.
If you don't read it then fine it's your choice but don't make out that those of us who do are somekind of inbred moron. I find this patronising and insulting and sterotyping of the worse possible kind.

I'm yet to see any evidence that shows Demetri in the face on their goalkeeper. In fact, in the last 24hrs the lad's gone up in my estimation.

He is only stood there looking and did only what our fans did at Hereford, went on the pitch, but he is young,as he gets older he will think twice.....

Another thing if they start looking to ban our fans who went on the pitch then they have to look for the Bury fans as well.....

And yet the scene would have been so different had she been photographed stood at the side of our goalkeeper congratulating him on promotion.
