Still not jumped off that B****Y bridge like he promised.

Makes it sound like we were the bad guys in it all, not quite sure why the BBC are romanticising cheating.

That would be quality :D

Look at this snippet from the article:

"I begged the FA on my hands and knees to let us through," said Pace

Laughable.

He is deluded, also a coniving, cheating two hat. I reckon it was him that turned off the floodlights when we were winning. Poor him, it wasn't his fault that his club didn't adhere to the long established, accepted and transparent FA rules on eligibility, only human after all - my ar*e.

I hope they go through and we get them to the B2net and beat them 10-nil.

I don't hate many people but this guy is certainly one of the ones i do hate. Complete scum and if something happened to him tomorrow I for one would not care an inch, sorry but thats just the way i feel.

Complete scum who shouldnt be allowed near a football club.

just a little further down:

Quote

"The pitch was like a paddy field, there were trees overhanging everything. The clubhouse burned down and we barely got a pound back on the insurance - then someone stole the floodlights.

Interesting that the BBC report didn't mention that we were leading when the lights went out!!

One of my best ever journalistic days when I rang the FA and they were unwilling to confirm the suspension whilst the enquiry was going on, but they did indicate that their suspensions page on the website at that time was probably '100% correct' and it did of course feature Newton's name!!

I was very pleased that the Star was able to be first in the World with the report on their website - even beating Sky Sports!!

As if, the fact his partner was manageress of the club house that developed the timely electrical fault was purely co-incidental....

The rumour was he'd had the job some time in the past, but at the time of the switch off it was Stella Quinn, a bit of digging around at the time revealed she lived with Pace

The guy really is an idiot. It's a shame he's got his moment back in the spot(flood)light.

That said I'm happy for them to win on the proviso we get them in the third round.
