Get them tomorrow mate, from the Tourist Information centre, £8.90 covers all buses around Derbyshire and trains in Derbyshire and extending to Burton if the journey starts in Derbyshire.
Got mine in advance so I can save on bus fare into Chesterfield from Boza on leg 1 of the journey

Planning on buying a wayfarer, also planning on going on the 13.06 train that goes straight to Burton, just checked the website though and unsure if it can be used as it just says this about the train:
U
sing your Derbyshire Wayfarer
on trains
You can use your Derbyshire Wayfarer on Cross Country
Trains, East Midlands Trains, Northern Trains and the
TransPennine Express, between any of the stations on the
following lines. Travel at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and
Bank Holiday Mondays and after 9.00am Monday to Friday.
Buxton – Chapel-en-le-Frith – New Mills (Newtown)
Sheffield – Edale – New Mills Central
Sheffield – Alfreton – Langley Mill
Sheffield – Chesterfield – Derby
Shirebrook – Whitwell (Robin Hood Line)
Derby – Belper – Matlock
Derby – Long Eaton
Derby – Tutbury and Hatton – Uttoxeter
Derby – Willington – Burton upon Trent
Will i be ok or is it best to get the train that changes at Derby/not get a wayfarer?
Edit: ...although went last year and definately didn't change at Derby, and bought a wayfarer, so i am probably worrying about nothing.
