One of my best ever journalistic days when I rang the FA and they were unwilling to confirm the suspension whilst the enquiry was going on, but they did indicate that their suspensions page on the website at that time was probably '100% correct' and it did of course feature Newton's name!!
I was very pleased that the Star was able to be first in the World with the report on their website - even beating Sky Sports!!
