Hope to see you back in the new year the link up play on the lefthand side is certainly missing, Gregor did a good job on Tuesday as an emergency cntre half bearing in mind he had little football over the past year. Why not play Page from the start as after all he is suppposed to be a centre half. Yet more baffling selections by Sheridan.

This is not a moan just an observation

Hi, this is Scott Griffiths. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the support I received during my time at Chesterfield(the chants on my last game were great). I was made to feel really welcome and it is much appreciated.

Also, I had a hernia operation yesterday, which went well and I am now at home recovering on Call Of Duty!

Best of luck, thanks again, Griff :)

Sorry to sign negative but my initial impression when reading this was that he ain't coming back. Hope its me being ultra negative.

Thanks Griff for your effort best left back I've seen here. Hope to see you again.

Well his IP address is for a computer situated just north of Skipton (credit Moondog). However he could be visiting a family member or something... who knows. It would be nice if he came back on and posted a picture or something. I suppose someone could ask Dean Morgan, Mark Allott or Tommy Lee on Twitter if it was actually him although chances are that they won't know

Have to be a bit careful with things like that. I'm currently at work in Brampton but if you track the IP it normally comes up as being down near Maidstone which is where our internet traffic goes through....although at other times it can be Copenhagen or in the Lake District as well!!

Out of interest, can you tell me where I'm situated... I'll let you know if you're right or not ;)
I'm embarrassed by the actions of those who run my club.

If you sign for us Scott, I promise that I will buy you a post-match pint sometime. No, make that a Lucozade.

Based on your GPS location. Acc to Autoroute Lakeside Close, Old Whittington.

If this is genuine, it's a small but much appreciated gesture.

There are those that peddle the idea our fans are reviled throughout football for their hostility towards players, however this thread once again gives lie to such assertions.

I'd echo all the previous best wishes, whether Scott's future lies at the b2net or elsewhere.

A latter day Mark Kendall, anyone?

That was an message between moderators raising a potential concern, not meant for the forum HB so a big slap on the wrist for that !

Yeah but to be fair it doesn't hurt for them to know. Can't see how we'd find out so might as well tell people about how they might be getting suckered :P

I'm sure Scott would understand people being apprehensive - it's not often a footballer posts on a messageboard.

According to my IT sources you are sat at home on your leather sofa playing with your Nintendo Wii..

(And you need to stand a bit closer to your razor in the morning, your beard is shocking!) :P

Possibly, but it doesn't change the fact you published details of a private message
