If anyone had posted anything like 99% of the posts on here tonight two weeks ago they would've had their head shot off.
Now if you try to defend anyone you get slaughtered.
There has to be a lesson in this somewhere

Let's be honest Azul, our results over Harrow and Aldershot have done nothing but paper over the cracks!Let's hope Shez has got a plan b, cos i don't think this gun'o approach will see us stop in the top 3 for the duration of a full season as things are!....here's hoping he has.

What rubbish....are we also saying that every other win has papered over the cracks?! We've lost 4 games all season if you dont include the game against Wednesday which was a draw as penalties is a lottery. We've got some fantastic decoraters if all the good results are papering over the cracks!!

What Cracks, this is one of the first 18 games to a season i can remember over the last 20 odd years.
If you think we have Cracks now, what did you think over the past 10 years

they weren't cracks. The last 10 years have gone from a canyon to to crevis its now easier to cover up but the cracks will always appear.

Its been a breath of fresh air this season apart from last night and Burton, but we are a small club with a small squad and when you have possibly 4 key players out you are going to get the odd slip up, yes majority of the team didn't show up but we have to support them if we want to finish in a promotion spot. We missed Mattis terribly last night and griff had been a top top player for us. We had no spine through the middle last night and didn't give the strikers and ammo.Lets hope we pick up but the players need us to support them, quite frankly the guy who sat behind me would be better off watching east enders, to moan and winge constantly even when we are winning is pathetic !!

Agreed, I think we should sack Sheridan and apply to Dave Allen as a fan's collective. LMAO.

Yesterday a thread worrying about JS going to Wednesday and today he is taking us into the conference.
Too much hysteria on both sides. I've never been Shez's biggest fan and didn't support his appointment but he has brought some good players in and completely turned us round from last year when we made no progress at all. Some of the entertainment has been memorable. It is not surprising teams are starting to suss us out, paticularly at home. 3 consecutive clean sheets away is a good sign, however, and we have the players who are always likely to get us a goal. There is also no doubt that JS will strengthen if he sees a need and we should have the cash to support him. There can be no excuses from the Board this time with crowds and income so much higher than previous years.

You win, you're great, you lose, you're crap.
We're 2nd in the table, tasty 2nd Round FA Cup tie against a beatable side.
The only concern I have is that we had a settled side and now SHeridan is tinkering.

Not exactly tinkering, Mattis Flu, Morgan Injured, Niven Banned. He's got to replace them with someone. Breckin Flu/Paternity/Toss, Page Toss, Clay not able to play for first team due to terms of loan, Downes Not yet, Lowery not match fit yet need I go on......?

Jonboy, you've got to admit we've been extremely lucky in many games - not taking anything away from the performances though.

Luck will only get you so far and i dont believe that we've got the amount of points we've got so far purely being lucky...it may nick you the odd point here and there but not 30 odd from 18 games.

The thing is people don't actually realise they are doing it, this guy was constantly slagging Davies and Allot, but when they made a good contribution ( not often last night I know) he kept his mouth shut, and to people who are coming along to watch football who minght not be hardened followers they minght think twice next time. We have to look at the bigger picture and if our 2 losses had come with a month or so gap, no one would be pressing the panick buttons.
One last rant to boo your team off at full time when we are still in the position we are in doesn't encourage people to come to the next game !! well done Davies for coming and clapping the supporters last night.
