I've been living abroad for a year or so, and the Burton game was my 1st town match for about 18th months. I went again tonight, and I've come home very disappointed. People told me how well we were playing and how clinical we are in the final third. I couldn't wait to come home and watch town again. I go back to live abroad in January, and I probably won't go and see town again (cue sanctimonious rant about loyalty) because maybe I have jinxed us.

I had the impression Whitakker was some kind of midfield maestro prior to the Burton game. In the games I've seen, he's a liability who gives the ball away, but I can't argue with his scoring record. I don't anyone played well tonight, especially Lester, who was very poor 2nd half. I see that Davies has attributes of a great forward, but still needs to work on his game.

The most frustrating thing is, Oxford were there for the taking. You could see how low on confidence they were. A decent promotion side, would have the game wrapped up by half time. If performances at home continue to be like the games against Burton and Oxford, attendances will dwindle fast, and we'll slip down the league.

One final rant. Although the b2net is very smart, there seems to be a lack of atmosphere. I'm not just talking about singing, more the shouting, surge of noise when we go on the attack, just generally seems a bit quiet.

They must make it unreserved seating next year. Their were few trying to get near the back and then turned away by the jobsworth stewards. Other than those at the back no one else was bothered last night.

Unreserved or not it can still only be one person to a seat and from what i can gather the big issue is still that loads are piling to the back and there are far to many than there is seats. In these cases the stewards have to shift them on safety grounds which couldnt affect the clubs safety certificate. Also if its unreserved yes more of them will be able to sit here but what about people who turn up later and cant get in there? Will this stop them all piling up there and not cause exactly what is happening now anyway? Also if someone is prepared to pay up front at the start of the season then surely they should get to pick a seat that they get for every game.

Yes 1 per seat but those seats at the back would be taken by those who want to make some noise. After a while folks would know what the best area for them was. Everyone wins.

You have missed some crackers and the atmosphere has been decent mate, dont let it keep you away, some big games coming up next month so get yourself there and keep on supporting us, we were bound to hit a rut at some point lets just hope we can get out of it soon enough!

Only if they turned up in time to get one of those seats. If they were late we are still in the same situation.

I want to take some responsibility of the result.

I convinced my Misses and a friend Graham Millington of Grassmoor (Name & Shame) to come to the Burton game with his misses. After the defeat we decided it was both the Women's fault (As Normal) so we left them at home for the Oxford game and just Graham Millington (of Grassmoor) came with me.

Guess what,..... I have told him that the Club have moved back to Saltergate for the rest of the season.

I will burn any spare tickets I have in future.

I'll have any spare tickets I've been to the Crewe game (hubby nearly had a heart attack!!) the sheff wed game (eldest son and hubby nearly had heart attack!) and the pre season friendly against Barnsley. So if I go there should at least be goals and interesting games ;oD

Two fat birds on the edge of the gangway to the left hand side of the goal up at the back were grassing on folk to the stewards against Burton. They were stood up themselves as well. We thought they may be a little more robust this week.

It may well have been the bloke and his kids first visit, he's bought tickets from the ticket office for that stand unaware of where he was going to end up and in an all seater stand he has every right to moan about the fact they cant see cos of people standing. As for this other kid if he doesnt have a ticket for that area he shouldnt be in it....not difficult to understand and again they were right to remove him as its overcrowding the area.

There may be something that can help solve the issue but as it stands this is the situation and all fans, that includes the self proclaimed singers who apparently have stand and ignore the rules, and theyve ruined this bloke and his kids night. Personally i cant see what difference making it unreserved will make. Those that want to go up there and dont get there in time will still go there, there will be no benefit to having a season ticket in there again causing issues and it may just lead to more problems as people roll up and head there first to see if there are any gaps.

You should be a steward. You've got the right sort of jobsworth attitude that some of them have. The blokes kid had a wollen hat with the old cfc badge on it so I doubt it was their first visit. There was about 50 or so folk at the back of the kop last night attempting to make some noise. No one else was interested. The club should be trying to keep these people together, not divide them up and scatter them across the stand. If a few people have to move to a more suitable place for them then is that not in the interests of all parties? Its simple to cater for all, the only obstacles are people like you.

I've nothing against the "singers" being able to get together and something being done to make this happen because the atmosphere at the B2Net has been really good at times this season. Maybe identifying certain seats on the system and selling them with the proviso regarding this and telling people as they purchase tickets. That said i dont think unreserved will make the slightest bit of difference and would probably make it worse as people will just buy tickets whenever assuming they can just pile into that area. Keeping it with seat numbers on tickets and trying to encourage those wanting to go in that area to have season tickets or buy early requesting that area would probably work better.

All that said people in that area still need to realise it doesnt give them some dispensation to ignore all the ground regulations and if there are to many in there, people standing all the time then they are liable to be dealt with due to the issues it would cause the club. Its not going to help if the safety people shut down sections of the ground because of it.

I am sure the club must get feedback from here but put your case directly to the club and see what their reply is. Difficult to change before next season I guess but I think you make some good points.
