Onto the game and after 5 minutes it was blatantly obvious that oxford were nothing short of useless, infact after 90 minutes i stand by the fact they were the worst side to come to the b2net,the problem is that our bunch of lazy arrogant wannabes thought playing at training ground pace was enough to get the points,we had no fizz no zip to our passes, mark allott was back to being his most crab like, even with ten seconds on the clock he knocked it wide, danny whittaker proved nice footballer that he is,he is a powderpuff midfielder and craig davies had the touch of a rapist (perhaps he should look up the word teamwork). All in all a thoroughly unpleasant night back to reality.

Something I've said but never actually seen written before....
Davies was very poor though. Had the one chance first half on his right, favoured angle and got too much boot on it.
By the way, am I the only one who wishes he'd wear boots that actually keep him upright?

Thus proving you're blind to it dema. Churchy wrote 21 words critiquing (fairly) Allott and 14 words about whit.

Well Bonny you can rant all you like, wise after the event an all that, Surely the Burton game showed how to beat us - Oxford 4th from the bottom came with everyone behind the ball, in our faces when ever we were in possession and doubled up on us on the flanks.
Futcher negating everything in the air. We score and EXPECT the rest fall in place. They have to be a little more adventurous and then our lack of pace is woefully exposed. I totally agree about Ford he looked nervous as hell without Matiss.
MOM again Allott.

churchy allott being crab like is the way he is not saying that he shouldn't but the ball going wide means whittake can get forward. Allott always has been and always will be a holding midfielder

i dont think oxford modeled themselves on burton, they were for one was not as good as burton, burton were in our faces closed the gaps and left a foot in,oxford didnt get near us,we got beat by a very bad team

A bad team but one with a dominating centre back and men willing to get behind the ball and pack the box when necessary.

did we work futcher ?..did we pull him out of position ?...the answer is no,he is a great big galoot who got an easy time of it,because players are not willing to work, that game was for the taking but attitudes got in the way as for getting men behind the ball a pub team could have got men behind the ball last night so slow and laboured was the build up

Futcher would have expected a tough time and he never got it. Fact is he's a great lump who's shunted around clubs as soon as his weaknesses are exposed.

That is just what i said at the game last night, they dealt with everything we threw at there defence and Morris was in the right place for his goal and how Ford missed near the end i don't know, did we create anything more than that,i am struggling to find anything else....

When you don't have the legs to recover what more can you do - stop attacking so much ? On the day we have to hold our hands up and admit we had a very thin line of defence with positional and make shift and mend options - defensively there weren't many options on the night.
