It has to be expected that teams will come to the B2Net, put 11 men behind the ball and hit us on the break. Are we clever enough to break teams down. We know that we can play football in an open game but can we overcome extreme defensive tactics. We are not Real Madrid!!!

Sounds like the injuries to Mattis and Morgan are catching up with us along with loosing Griffiths, makes the game at Bury next week look huge!

dreadful absolutely B****Y dreadful, 2 home losses in a row. Thats not promotion form. The players need a rocket from sheridan tonight because they have lost their lead at the top now. We are doing the chasing now.

Whitaker was poor,what about Allott,he is the weak link in our midfield,Whitaker was shed loads better than Allott....

They were both awful Dema! and as for forde..he is fast becoming our weakest link.

I think i would have took Davies off and left Lester on but having said that Boden and Bowery are not adequate replacements,Jack oozes class and without him we are nothing and it showed tonight.......

The WHOLE midfield was completely AWOL tonight,its coming to something when Tommy was my MOTM.!! WE'RE AT HOME FFS...

Outstandingly poor. Not one Chesterfield player can hold their head up and say "I've done my best and had a good game tonight"
And its Bury up next and they're flying!! Lucky to get 5k there v Torquay......
More disapointed about this than the Burton game.

With 3 regulars in that possition are over 30, and the way JS likes to push on the back 4 are always going to be under pressure!
Having said that we should have been 4 up by half time with the chances we had.
Morris coming off light weight on the left from that point on and they score from that possition... Mistake by our manager!. For that 5mins or so we had 3 on the right and no shape to our game... Shambolic. Oxford are 4th from bottem ffs! They are a poor side!

Tonights game is a complete disaster.

A few more results like this an the crowds will be back at less than 4k and Sheridan will come under real preasure.

Oxford fourth bottom and not won in 5.

Burton not one won away until they played us.

With that squad we are not a top 3 side.
