Pre season doom and gloom and fear of the Norwegians wanting rid of the club seem to have lifted after 2 good results... happy days at Vic Park at the mo!

It's been a good week for Stelling so far, a visit to the best stadium outside the premier league last night, and a great win against an ex premier league team tonight.

It must have been a bit cold ! All seems well in the garden of Chesterfield too. Saw some kids in town wearing the new Chessa shirt...very smart that like !

Chessa is a generic term used by outsiders who know nowt abart us fromt tarn, but want to engratiate us and try to bask in our new found glories. They are the equivalent of a prawn cocktail (sorry-sandwich) brigade. Alternate explanation is that its a term used by Derby inhabitants to describe their northern neighbours. No true spireite would accept the description.

Chessie is the more favoured term, from my observations commonly used more than anyone by our yorkshire neighbours

Local places are much alike the nation over......worked all over the world and seen some right stuck in the mud places. The Bronx inNew York was a laugh, I remember asking some local black lads where "Kojak" was filmed, they looked at me if I was from another planet. "Where you from man?" So I told them....."Up that road, turn left , keep going, Middlesbrough and I'm harder than you". They laughed....luckily !!!!! <_<
