Sky plussed last night...just watching...and that challenge in the 20th minute was b.loody nasty.

He has a nasty streak in him, always willing to get into some aggro with a centre half and loves to leave the studs in..i like it! he wouldnt be half the player he is now if he changed it Simon mate.

I know it's not so nice to watch but its good to see some aggression.
Jack is just the type of player defends fear.

Another ref and he could have walked.....

Just watched and only mention Mattis gets in the game is on the goal!

Just before that - the same player had put a late challenge on Lester - It was a "don't take libertys son" challenge - managed to get under Grounds' skin - for the most, abs quality.

What's your point on Mattis? I thought he had a great game. My son in law who lives in Hampshire, and knows his football but rarely gets a chance to watch us, except when we're on Sky, singled out Mattis with this Question--"who did you sign him from, you've picked up a real bargain?" Said he was clearly man of the match.

man of the match for me was griffiths he is a real good player

He does, and although some thought Morris was MOM contender against Barnet, if both are fit I would have to stick with Griffiths.

I suspect that Mattis won't win many MoTM awards this season but will be right up there when it comes to player of the season.

He'll be an absolute shoe-in for players-player of the season.
