Couple of things,

One, he made the challenge in the direction the ball was travelling.

Second, Kabbas reaction was terrible. A Grown man should have a look at himself after that

Thrid, No studs were showing and one leg went through the ball.

Fourth, Kabba neshed it big style, thats why he went down like that.

Not surprised at the FAs decision as they will only ever look at the player play acting on the ground. Over the Top maybe, but never a red card in a million years.
We are all off to the B2NET

Agree, it also shows Kabba is jumping at Davies with two feet in the air. The decision not to rescind the red card (and maybe to give it to Kabba instead), is absolutely ridiculous and indefensible, in other words precisely what you'd expect from the FA.

As much as the photo defends Davies i cant see the FA over turning the decision based on that one photo. They will also need the ref to accept that the decision was wrong and if he doesnt its going to need a massive change of stance from the FA to go over a refs head as its basically telling him that they think he made a major mistake.

No - the ref DID make a serious mistake, so of course the FA will refuse to face up to it, no surprise there.

I upset one of my dads chums when this happened at the weekend as I said, quote, "i would never wish injury on any player, but rolling around like that, he better had actually broken something". I then felt like a total *** when he was taken off after a lengthy wait, but seeing now that I was right makes me feel even more disgruntled. Having broken bones myself, I know that you are unlikely to flid about on the floor like that...pathetic, and it certainly goes to show that even in this day and age, it is a little too easy to con a ref, simply by rolling around as if you've just been stabbed in the anus...a shame indeed! Davies looks like a fine prospect though, once he's back.
