Assuming Gregor will be fit, our latest fit & signed side as follows:

Lee
Gray
Ford
Breckin
Robertson
Talbot
Allott
Mattis
Whitaker
Lester
Gritton

Subs: Crossley, Page, Niven, Boden, Bowery, Clay, Darikwa

It's getting there! Kozluk & McDermott to come!

do you really think gritton will get a look in this season, he might get the boot cleaning job but that's as much as i can see him figuring.

Where do you see Talbot playing? What formation do you see us playing next term?

We are a full back, 2 wingers and a striker at the very least away.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Gritton can be our Heskey, hold the ball up, amazing fist touch, and feed jack

I do think we need a good striker to partner Jack up front.
1 winger and 1 more defender

I can see a 4-3-2-1 style formation, with Talbot and Small/AN Other being the two. They will drift wide or go up front to partner Jack as and when they can. I think Allott and Mattis will hold in midfield, Whittaker will be the attacking midfielder and the fullbacks will bomb on when they can. Totally different style to last season I think.

The squad is still a long way off being a promotion pushing side. Shezza don't forget a deent strike partner for Jack, Boden and Bowery are nowhere near being the answer.

decent

i think the style will depend on the players we are able to sign. If we get Donal back we'll play with a winger for instance.

it's difficult to speculate without having seen the players but the formation you suggest could work, jack up front with talbot and whittaker being the 2. If we then had Niven, Allott and Mattis as a three we'll be very strong - on paper. Given the players currently signed on I would suggest this is our strongest formation.

Of course, the next new signing will change everything!

Yeah but what do you know about football? Someone's been on the CM a bit too much.

I think Sheridan is a Mike Basset / Fabio Capello 4 4 2 kind of guy.

So would I, but the theme was about fit players - Lowry would be in too, but neither ready for August

Does the thought of this team excite anyone, with possibly a RB, and a Striker coming as well....

Lee

Gray Ford Downes Robertson

Lowrey Allott Whitaker Mcdermott

Talbot Lester

Subs: Crossley, Page, Niven, Boden, Bowery, Mattis, Breckin
