 Bit hyperthetical----some of these players wouldn't be with us had we not had the bad injuries.

Robertson for Goodall? Now you have had your joke please talk sensibly. Is he not one of the reasons we have become far better defensively?

I'm 50/50 on that one. Robertson was very good in the 2nd half of last season, whereas Goodall's disciplinary record let him down. Before Robertson got injured this season he was poor defensively but Robo offers more going forward due to his height and pace. Goodall has been part of the recent revival so i wouldn't drop him if Gregor was to get fit but i do think GR is the best out of the two, slightly.

There's a few simliar areas though, Page has had a good season, but was poor last year, Brecks doesn't look as good as he used to, but i'm still unsure which i'd like to see partner Downes long term.

I like what i've seen from Rundle so far, but i don't think Whaley is as good as i was expecting so that's why i've put Whaley on the bench and Rundle in the team.

I like Talbot on the wing but now we have plenty of players who can play wide i'd like to see Talbot and Lester upfront, with Conlon on the bench to utilise if we need the extra height.

I liked what i saw of Lowry at the start of this season and i think he's more valuable out wide than at right back especially if he was to keep scoring like at the start of shezzas reign. I do think we could do with another right back though, i've put picks there he'll do for me when he's at his best but he spends too much time injured and would prefer someone taller there tbh. I'm hoping Whing is better, given his POTY award, and we can bring him here full time.

He's been good recently and I'm pleased for him but I think Robertson's the better player.

I'd also choose Robertson over Goodall but it is close and I think it depends on the opposition (i.e. are we going all out for a win or are we expecting a tough game and happy to come away with a point?). Robertson offers more going forward and is better at supporting the attack but Goodall is the better defender and does seem to have sorted out his lack of discipline. If both were fully fit then I think it would present JS with the sort of difficult decision that all managers like because neither of them is head and shoulders above the other so it shouldn't be difficult to motivate the pair of them to work hard and fight for that place in the starting line-up.

In the overall scheme of things I think we need to be more concerned about the RB position - hopefully, Whing will sort that one out for us. I'd prefer to see a fully fit Lowry playing on the wing because he was starting to look good there before his injury.
If nothing acts faster than anadin, why do we buy anadin?
