I was sat with my mates ( one an off duty copper) and we all thought it was disgraceful the way the stewards dealt with the matter.Instead of going in mob handed why didn't they call in the local plod who were no more than 30yds away from the incident, and could have poured cold water on what began has a minor incident. I'm not a troublemaker or by any means a violent person but I was so peed off with the yobish behaviour of the stewards that I would quite easily have kicked the big fat ringleader a kick in the nuts.If our nutters had been their today it would have kicked off big style. I defended stewards and the coppers on these boards inthe past, but today was appalling, what would have happened to our younger element if the same incident had occurred amongst them. Its scum stewaqrds like this who deserve to get their just desserts against the likes of Cardiff or Millwall.
Sorry for my rant but it upset me that much today to see our fans treated in such a bad way, for such a minor offence.

The majority of them were welsh and I would guess they are used to dealing with Cardiff Fans and just treat everyone the same. Why didn't they eject everyone else taking pictures.
God I hate this league.

Coppers said they can only intervene when asked to by the stewards. They did say if anyone wrote a letter to them then they would pass it on to Chelts and a full investiagtion would follow. Perhaps you copper mate might like to write.

The big fat steward shouldn't be in a job

What an advert for a club or business - new dance craze on it's way I hear do the ' wibbly wob'

A Cheltenham fan on another forum says one of their fans in his fifties had a thermos flask taken off him in the week.

Apparently they're well known for this sort of conduct.

He suggested writing to the club FAO the chairman.

Be fair though,
tea drinking can lead to coffee, bovril and then soup...

These nice stewards were potentially preventing this so called football fan turning into a hopeless minestrone addict with a Cup a Soup habit of up to 79p a day

another Cheltenham fan on another forum says that some Chesterfield fan had complained about the groups bad language and they didn't stop when asked

seems a bit strong armed for just taking photos

probably only the stewards and the lads concerned really know what went off

Was me taking photos originally, was asked to stop as they said it broke ground rules, this i did. When asked if mobile phone cameras were banned a steward said no, hence a few lads mockingly took photos on their phones. At this point the hefty main steward lost the plot and created a scene, totally OTT.
