Explaining that he had approached the referee about the foul that led to a penallty, and a dismissal for Steele, because he thought there hadn't been contact, "the referee tells me the law is a trip or an attempt to trip- which is news to me!"
Mark it has been in Law 12 for more than a century (although nit was originally Law 10 in 1863.)

One call reminded me why I don't miss listening to that stuff. A Barnsley fan called to say his side had been rubbish.

"No, but I listened to Radio Sheffield. Well, I listened to the Sheffield United game on Radio Sheffield, because I can't get FM where I live and I haven't got a DAB radio."
