They will sell out the 400 and request the other 400, no danger of that.

Does anyone think that this will be a full sell out

No, it will be full but not a sell out. Half the main stand will be on freebies

Someone I work with was given a voucher by the club for two tickets 'for any league game' to raffle for their club but the winner's not been allowed to use them for this match I hear.

I would imagine the gate receipts for the game will also set a new record.

Hopefully a record that will last no longer than 6 months.

I would hope a record that lasts forever (for Saltergate). With us gaining automatic promotion and no play offs.

If you ask me it stinks and the club should hang there head in shame as alot of surporters can not afford season tickets!!
So why offer season ticket holders a extra ticket?
How about supporters like me who goes every week without fail to all home games and most away games!
This is the most unfair way to sell the tickets i have follwed town now for 37 years and if i dont get a ticket for
the last game i will never give the club another penny including my Blues on the move money.
Which i have been a member for 13 years now.
This is out od order to genuine supporters you only have to look at the buy one get one free games faces you have never seen.
I hopr Mr Hubbard reads this Post cause its a Disgrace to the Real Chesterfield Fans!!!

The club should give loyality cards out. and you get it swiped everytime you go to a game Home and away, then tickets distributed by points system.

This way ST dont hold an advantage..

Surely season ticket holders should get some sort of advantage for being season ticket holders and paying all their money up front?

Even if every season ticket holder took their extra one there will still be loads on sale on the 16th?

Couple of thousand season ticket holders so 4000 maximum gone by the time they go on sale. Minus 800 for the away fans and that still leaves over 3000 tickets!!

Maybe a few more points for paying money up front

Yer we only just get 3000 each home game, so dont know what fuss is all about

Plus we maybe got a Play off game at home. Will the last game on the 8th be an anti climax if we know we got another home game fixture. For me it kind of will

So i need to take a day off work? and wait for god knows how long outside st margrets drive, Just to get a Ticket
How many of the Season ticket holders went to Darlo/Ballmouth/Torquay and how many will be at Hereford.
This is a joke and the club do not deserve LOYAL supporters,
not the glory hunters who come when we are doing well.
Barry Hubbard should Hang his head
coz i will not be taking time off work to Que for hours.
And they wonder why so many people stay away.
Sort this out my MR HUBBARD!!

Short of the club hand delivering a ticket to you i suspect whatever they had done you would have had to take a day of work to fetch a ticket or are you expecting them to sell them outside of normal office hours!?!?

Ticket sales are always going to happen like this and i really doubt that they are going to sell out on the opening morning with queues stretching around the ground.

Also if you take time out from your ranting to read the news article about ticket sales i believe it mentions applying for tickets by post if you really cant get to the ground.

Its all about money to the Chairman, so why not look after the people who put the most money in to the club at everylevel....Money point system....

when tickets are sold for any CFC match or event, served in order of whos put the most money through the door,

Re these glory hunters....i may be mistaken but we've just had a home game whilst fourth in the table, on the back of 6 straight wins and we didnt even get 4000 people attending!!

The ticket sales for this game was always going to be one of those times when the club couldnt do right for doing wrong. There are people talking on here that it wont even sell out whilst others are slating the club about not getting a ticket before general sales have even started and they've only been on sale for a couple of days to season ticket holders!! Unfortunately sometimes for things like this you have to go out of your way to sort it and make sure you get a ticket.....not everything can be handed on a nice little platter.

What about people who arent in a position to spend loads of money on watching Chesterfield?

Personally i think that if you really want a ticket for this game then you will get one if you make the effort.
