Is he not a right winger anyway, so wud have played on the opposite flank?
Would have allowed talbot to go upfront with conlon.

I would suggest we offered him a deal but with a deadline, which allowed us time for Plan B.
If Whaley had accepted, i doubt he'd have got Rundle in.
Although, I would have thought the offer would have been a longer term one than the remainder of this season too.

I'd still like to see Whalley here as we could push Talbot alongside Conlon, as for Rundle he's looking like a gem of a signing.

After disagreeing with you quite vigourously re Gregor..see other thread...I couldn`t agree more re Rundle..
With the risk of making myself seem daft, he more than any other short term signing this season, yes and I include Dermot in that, could make the difference between play-offs or automatic promotion.
East stand second class citizen.
