In Green we are looking at a player who has been traded for good money and who has 40 senior appearances, including a couple this season in the Championship. He wouldn't have worked his way through loan apperances to playing in the second tier without the ability.

Tonight he hardly took anyone on but he did retain posession and might have been working to orders.

He is woeful.

It wouldnt be so bad if he actully put some effort in. I am still fuming from the lack of his closing down for the cross for their goal, would rather see Terell Lewis playing al least he might put himself about a bit.

Going with the view of the original poster I would send him back today.

Allott was OK for me tonight. But Artus' lack of mobility left him constantly exposed.

Artus must be better than he showed tonight? Far too willing to play the 'safe' ball. No physical presence, and no attacking thread. 4/10 at best.

Are you talking about Artus or Allott? Some of us would say your comments could apply just as well to MA!

Are all the Allot haters just trying to 'get a bite' now? That's why I never bother arguing back, cos everyone knows what he does and his limitations yet they still try and get the sly dig in constantly. Its kinda boring.

Really?

I had a pass out from the kop tonight and was in the directors box. What little noise there was came from my right.

 Must have got a bit of wax in your left ear then.Plenty of vocal support from the kop with the drum playing it's part. That last gasp goal silenced everybody mind you.
Many a good tune

We agree on some things but not on Allott, as you know 'Haslandboi'. But why is it that those who criticise Allott are 'Allott haters' but it's ok for folk to constantly criticise Green, Small, Gritton etc. I don't hate Allott - I've never spoken to him so for all I know he might be a really good bloke - but I don't rate him as a player. Am I supposed to keep quiet just because some other fans do rate him? After all, it's not unusual for fans to have different views on most players. Were you genuinely impressed by his efforts last night? Should I refer to his admirers as 'Allott lovers'? How many goals or assists has he contributed so far this season?

It was far, far quieter than the other games that I've sat in the centre/family stand. Those being the Darlington, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury games.

I'm not an Allot hater but he's been very poor in the past 2 games, when he doesn't play well neither does the team.

I was right amongst the drum and so called noise!

Basically we had the drum banging and about 20 folks singing. Is that's susposed to be an atmosphere??
The ONLY time the drum sounds good is when numbers in the kop start to sing and then we don't need the drum  Waste of space quite frankly!
I applaud his efforts, but when you have the drum banging and that few folk singing it sounds pathetic, embarrassing and annoying all at the same time!!

The local derby brought the school kids out as well! Annoying little ****$ they are, pushing and shoving thinking they are hard! I wouldn't mind but they don't even watch the f'kin game and you have to listen to their non stop C**p that they sprout. Only good thing about the drum is that it drowns a few of them out

2 fine strikes from the edge of the area. How often do we get goals from there?

Assists I have no idea, but I don't expect him to create goals directly so I don't rate him on that. I don't think Allot is a God, I don't think he's a great player; I think he knows his limits and plays within them, which is fair enough. I think he's one of the first players that people look to criticise which is what pisses me off most.

Fair enough but the thought occurs, if he is one of the first players to be critcised then perhaps that ought to tell you something?

those school kids are the life blood of this football club, would you rather they were all plastic mancs/ scousers or down at saltergate supporting their home town club.

they can talk as much crap as they like for me, bring their mp3 players and listen to that, just as long as they continue to turn up each week and hopefully drag a few of their mates along, without them the club won`t exist in years to come.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Have we got a different type of drum, the lad who plays it does have obvious talent, but sometimes it drowns out the singing and sometimes it just sounds like a thud thud thud and gives me an headache.lol. They have some good drummers around the grounds such as Blackpoo l& Aldershot.

It's down to the different type of drums used.,
God I hate this league.
