What's that got to do with it?

The fact is the loan signings have been poor. To blame the board for Sheridan's shortcomings is ridiculous.

So every time we chop and change the team to bring in more loanees you expect them to gel immediately do you, wake up sunshine, this is the reason we are staying in this league next season......

More nonsense. There's gelling and there's looking like a footballer.

Do explain to me why the board are at fault though, Keith.

Christ I agree!

Also not getting one or two to sign on for longer is a factor. I find that a little strange, does this indicate problesm somewhere?

The kid is only young what is the more experienced Allotts excuse,we only signed him because no one else wanted him,the board aer at fault because they are not giving the manager sufficient funds to strengthen the team,Sheridan himself said the board are not giving him any,why because it is all going on the new stadium, and that is the reason we are staying in this league next season,do you think we will go up,did they brain wash you in the directors box tonight,i can't call you by your name because i don't know it.....sorry.....

NOT GIVING HIM FUNDS, what, he`s made 16 bluddy signings and most have been poor so far, so don`t come the 'he's not getting the backing card ' the board arn't to blame the manager is.

What is it ........won once in 8. No excuses, i've given the man support. He put me in this position because the two loan signings, namely Artus and Green are two of the worst players ever to put on a shirt. How they can be signed by the club..... Surely, the club has got better options within, rather than this...... Sort it out or go. This is no better than Richardson.

yes they are crap signings but who do you expect Robhinio and Van Nistelrooy. We aren't going to attract much quality while ever where playing at sh***Y run down Saltergate would you want to come here with our facilities playing in this league .I still believe we have a chance of the playoffs if we can get the likes of Tally back and replace these two wasters sorry loan signings with someone half decent. The defence looked solider than it has for a while but we lack a cutting edge and a playmaker in midfield obviously.

NOT giving him funds?????????

We already had a huge budget for a 4th division team (according to Blubbard) and he added Breckin, Small, Allot and Small

Then all these sucking loanees

Who is paying for them?

Pointless............I'm saying we are going backwards with players. If Green is the best we can do its time to rethink. Christ, anyone can see this . I'm not one for slagging players all the time but the boy's a joke. So is Artus. We really have got to get to grips with things. Sheridans had the same backing as other managers. Really, Adam Smith would have done a better job tonight. As I said, with teams like Accrington Stanley, Morecombe overtaking us so to speak, there have to be better options. Sort it out

All this sort of debate causes is rifts and division between fans and players and management and anyone in between. It's happened every year for the last 5 or so and we've ended up where we are now!

Its time to buck the trend and deal with what we have and get on with it. All this Management out, board out crap is unproductive rubbish that does help in any way at all.

That was as bad a performance as last Saturday, but was even more frustrating and disappointing. What bothers me is that in the last 2 matches we have managed 3 worthwhile efforts with only 1 noteworthy made by the opposing keeper. Green was garbage at Northampton and surpassed that tonight, get him in a taxi and send him back to Posh.tomorrow.He 's no better than what we have already on our books. We have no decent wingplay and I felt soory for Jack and Baz tonight, not one decent cross came into the box. Allot needs dropping he was garbage yet again, Niven played well and I think Artus will be fine once he's got a few games under his belt.
Someone with us tonight reckons that we are about to sign Whalley I can't picture him. WE need Drew back and a decent wingman plus a midfield general if we are to save our season, all is not lost but Morcambe has become a must win game on Saturday. But with the goals drying out I don't hold out much hope for us. Apart from the goal, the back four played very well and Tommy is looking steady once again.
I'd give Harsley a run in place of Allot but with have to bring an aggressive widen=man with pace who can beat a man and deliver a decent cross which Green seems incapable of.

Allott was everywhere tonight without any help what so ever! On his own in midfield 90% of the time! He was the one piece of straw trying to plug the large hole in the bucket.

I agree with all of that besides your bombshell of stating Niven played well, he was woeful he simply cannot pass a ball irrespective of position he plays, he is clueless and imo simply a liability we played with nine men tonight both wingers were woeful

No funds? How many has he signed? Wake up and smell the coffee. Not even sure what you're argument is. I'm sure, though simple, you're a nice man so I don't feel the need to ridicule your posts.

Rubbish, i'm sorry to sound like that, but we've had a big budget, signed loads of players. The fans at Chesterfield are quite patient, but really they have had to put up with some rubbish. We did battle tonight but really Rotherham weren't really tested too much. We need players who have a physical presence, that doesn't include Boden, Green Artus, Allott, Grey, Gritton, to name afew

My post is as it stands the manager lives or dies by results: One win in 8, 6 losses. Sorry, this is the real world

Allot was poor again,I agree Niven's passing was as equally poor we were counting all the misplaced passing. However,if Green had got through half as much work we may have produced a chance or two.UTTER GARBAGE.

To expect a manager to come in and take us up in his first season is either hopeful or deluded. If we get into the play-offs this season then I would consider that a bonus.

I know patience is not a forte of the football supporter but the man needs time and not just 6 months and out!
